The mystery projects are great. Please continue with them. What a great idea if you had young people to teach. You make everything look so easy. Thank you Christine. 😊
I have just started sewing again after retiring. Having lots of fun making the projects. All of my grandchildren love their new book bags. Each one made with their favorite toy in mind. Thank you for the projects that have helped me get back to sewing.
Now we need a tutorial for a book cozy to go with all these other book items. I had a craft show yesterday so didn't have time to watch this yesterday. I watched your 12 stocking stuffer ideas video first today, so I knew what the mystery was.😊 Here's to hitting 100k very soon, Christine.🎉 Hugs from Nevada, Cathy❤
This is a fantastic project. The local school collects donations for children to gift to their parents. I will make these to donate for next years event.
Been watching you for a few months now and I really enjoy your style of teaching. You have so many cleaver ideas and they are so quick and easy. Look forward to more mysteries and info. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
I’m glad the card arrived rather quickly! Yay! These bookmarks are wonderful!! My best friend reads A LOT so I’ll make her a few. :) Thank you for yet another great project.
That flat tool that looks like a key is exactly what you said. It is designed to feed the serger tail back in the seam so it does not unravel. It has a small notch on the tip to catch the threads. Some people use a large eyed needle for this but this tool is nice because it is flat and can be used with very short tails. I’ll look up the name and post it.
@@ChristinesHomeAffairsI find that if you rotate I by 90 degrees (perpendicular to the fabric) you can pull it out easily. So I slide it in flat but rotate it with the small lip towards the fabric to pull it out. Once you get the technique it can be useful.
You sure have my curiosity up. Watching in wonder.😊was thinking maybe a book marker. Love it …. Thank you… yes, love to see more. Love new quick ideas. I am a bag maker, quilter and more
love these for all my plain swatches. I'll make them wider and a bit longer, add a tassel on the point, embroider the fronts. they'll be very medieval looking strung along the top of the porch.
In RSA we don't have post office service anymore so I would like to thank you this way for these lovely video's you put out. My you and your loved once have a blessed Christmas season and a happy new year.
I was slow to guess what these would be, the fringe being cut was the moment doh. Great idea I may try with some fusible stabiliser in mine and definitely with the fringing x Thanks for all you do for us sewists x
My daughter was asking about bookmarks. Your's, by far, was the easiest to follow. It didn't take long to figure out what you were up to.😊 I love all of your videos, and have made at least 1 of everything, except the one's that require vinyl. My machine will not sew through vinyl. 😊❤
@ChristinesHomeAffairs Hahaha 😂 My daughter sewing....when pigs fly 😂 her boyfriend sent over a bunch of pants that needed mended. One side was those iron on patches. I took those off. Then I turned the pants inside out. In the crotch area was gobs of E-6000 glue! I could have repaired each pair of pants in about 10-15 minutes without patching. How on earth did he wear them? To a guy, I'm sure it was a good idea... airplane glue in his britches. He quite possibly will be my son-in-law. 🙂
Christine, if you lay the threads that you are going to tie with across the ruler before winding the other thread around then there's no need to slip it under afterwards. 😊❤
For the one with the tassels, if the bookmark is long enough, I would make the tassel narrower and leave it attached in the center to fold over the book on the outside.

You can lay the tie across first and tape it down, it will save you from trying to thread it through after.
That's brilliant Terri. 😁
Thanks Begonia. That was the reason I purchased it, but it keeps snagging for me😁

That's a great idea Mable. Thank you😁
I like to crochet bookmarks, in all different colors, with #10 crochet thread and an F hook, or smaller.
I used to love to crochet lace doilies and table runners😁
I may have to make one or two for my grandson. It's so hard to think of things to make him
Oh it's so hard for boys. I often struggle with ideas too😁
What a fun project and YES!!! More mystery sew-alongs. What was the first one???
