  • Whats up guys! Here's a little bit of a background into the transformation of my abs over time and to show you how I got my abs. I always get asked if I got them from just running but a lot went into making my body what it is today! Hopefully this helps and inspires you a bit. With hard work and consistency you can get the body you want too!

      Paulo César Me? Yes, a little. I started visiting the gym once a week 3 months ago, then more recently I’ve got no access to a gym, so I’ve started doing some beginners calisthenics instead, and watching people like hellahgood for tips! Pull ups, push ups, dips and running for me. Along with a while foods plant based diet, check out my videos if you can.

    You are a great storyteller and you have a soothing voice. Your story helps motivate me. I am glad you keep it 100!! YES, sometimes our initial motivations for working out are shallow but it's our DISCIPLINE that keeps us going! There is nothing shallow about the sweat, time, and calculation you put in your journey. It feels good to feel great at the beach -- it sure was my catalyst! Would love to hear more talks, audiobook, etc.

    Listening to this made me remember when I was jounger in hightschool and first started doing excersice just the same way you said, everyday before sleeping I did pushups, sit ups, jumping jacks, and whatever came to mind every single day without stopping not thinking about food, rest, or any of that complicated stuff and before I knew it my friends began to tell me I looked better and "cooler" while I just kept being the guffy, comedy kid of the school, and before long I was probably one of the most popular kids without me even realizing, and here I was just thinking who else could I play UNO or Jenga while meeting everyone on the god damn school xD hahaha

    • @HellahGood
      @HellahGood  6 років тому +1

      Thanks. Definitely plays a part but I wouldn't say as major as healthy eating, consistency, and maintenance. It took me at least 10 years to build my body into what it is today so I try to make that clear to people who are looking for the quick fix or easy excuse as to why they can't do it

    Hey Hellah! I’m a footballer (soccer) and I want to get more lean and shredded cause I think that’d really improve my speed and stamina. I’m 16 rn and have pretty bulky muscles and I weigh 75kg and 178cm tall. Around 4 years ago I was skinny and really really fast, but now I have much more bulky muscle and I’m not so fast and agile anymore compared to my teammates/opponents. I think I’d benefit from doing what you did when you were “too” big, losing muscle. I think I’d be faster and more agile since I don’t weigh as much. How should I do?

      Akshay Chaudhary why do you run? What will you achieve if you do run? Are you a baby? Come on don't be a wuss. Stuff like that works for me. Run with friends and push urself

    • @HellahGood

      Akshay Chaudhary I usually do my runs early in the day but I’ve had days that I didn’t feel like running until much later than my usual time. I’ve never really felt that I don’t want to run at all. I think the fact that I came a long way keeps me going. It’s the why stop now mentality. After challenging myself for this journey my mindset everyday is that I want to prove myself right and get it done. The mindset makes it easier for me to stay motivated everyday.

    How many did you do roughly per day?and how long it take until you saw results?

    • @HellahGood
      @HellahGood  6 років тому +8

      If Tomato's are a fruit why isn't ketchup a jam? I started just doing as much as my body would let me, I wanted that quick result but than I realized to do solid ab workouts instead of just high ineffective quantities. The result was then quicker. Few weeks in I was seeing definite results but this was doing abs in the morning and at night.

    sounds like you're explaining secretofathleticism by Chong Xie.. fascia tensioning in abs,glutes,, i bet your feet tense too when you run.. tendons pop out on your feet..

      Oh wow thanks for sending that. I never heard about that. I guess training with so many different people I've learned little things like that without even realizing

      yeah look at his instagram page, lots of evidence that elite athletes use their feet differently, neurologically enhancing connective tissue and glute dominace over quad. shows why some people see results and some dont from same exact training program to increase athleticism.. check it out

    No way you're from Mali!!! I move to Canada 7years ago from Bamako. It's crazy how I am relating to you. I was under 5 feet first year of high school and I was dedicated to be the most athletic guy in my football (soccer) team. I am starting to get into running as well and I have been vegan for 2 years. To bad you're in the US I would of liked to meet you. Keep up the good work!
    Ps. I have a few vlogs on my channel. Check them out!!

      @@HellahGood My abs story is kind of similar to yours. As you can tell from the name I am a Naija boy. I was really skinny when I was younger but randomly at 16 I woke up with abs. Then I started doing solely ab exercises to impress my crush but they were skinny man abs. I went to college, I got into training MMA, which led to me running and lifting weights. Now my abs were super defined. Kind of fell off since I have going through some stuff but you have inspired me. Thanks.

      You should look up WSLF eating and mr and mrs. vegan on youtube. They promote eating as much as you need to be satisfied in what I believe is the healthiest way - whole foods .. oats, rice, legumes, vegetables, and fruits in their whole form. They also discuss the science behind that type of eating. Two books I've also liked are The McDougall program for maximum weight loss and the starch solution
