    Fantastic bed. I majored in furniture design back in the 70's where all we had was a table saw, band saw, circular saw, jointer, flex shaft sander and hand tools. It took me an entire semester to make one laminated and carved coffee table. I'd have to learn how to do it all over again with all these new devices, but I'm sure things would go a whole lot faster and be a whole lot more accurate than what we ended up with back then.

      The rainbow is a natural sign of nature that GOD brought into existence as a symbol of his promise to never destroy the world again with water!!!
      It is obvious that it is true as no where in history does it contest the fact, by documenting that there was rainbows before the flood, as we have writings and drawings from before the flood, like the summerian tablets and no where were rainbows ever mentioned!!!

    • @wubzzinator
      @wubzzinator 5 років тому +8

      @@theducklinghomesteadandgar6639 Brah, you believe what you like. Others can enjoy the rainbow. It's literally light that travels millions of miles from our Sun, and every other star in the sky, cast down through moisture in the atmosphere like a prism. ALSO, the world wide flood didn't happen. There were thriving, documented civilizations during the time the Earth was supposedly covered.
      Let others live life and enjoy it's beauty.

    Love your work... so neat

    • @prntrfxr
      @prntrfxr 5 років тому +2

      We Americans are such a pain in the butt about this, aren't we? The thing is we really have tried to convert to metric. I learned about it in school, but no one uses it so metric is like some freak thing that requires conversion apps on our phones rather than anything practical.

    • @GetHandsDirty
      @GetHandsDirty  5 років тому +8

      @@prntrfxr Ahah well, I think it's a matter of getting used to it as a young kid or not. I understand the idea of dividing things into parts of themselves and it makes sense but the problem starts when my inch has a different size from your inch so it really stops making any sense at all for me. I cannot relate to it, it's like I could never fit into the measurement and the concept falls apart. And 1 inch being about 2,5 cm is a rather "big" measurement to start with, I think... ahah

    • @prntrfxr
      @prntrfxr 5 років тому +6

      @@GetHandsDirty Yes, and I was willing to learn it, but if I go to a hardware store in the US and give them metric, they will definitely give me a dirty look and I would have to convert it back to metric for them. All products sold here also have metric dimensions on the boxes, but no one pays much attention to that unless they are from another country. It is very funny, but although Americans adopt a lot of new things, this is one thing they won't change. I am 50 years old. I had Metric system in school. My brother who is in his 30's also had it, but no one uses it. Oh well. But I agree that Metric would be easier if we would use it. Maybe in another 50 years, it will be different. LOL!

    • @zedlicious
      @zedlicious 5 років тому +8

      The Canadians can do metric! Why can’t the Americans?
      It’s not that hard... your currency is decimal = metric
      Think of a metre being a dollar!
      100 cents to the dollar
      A quarter is 25c = 25 cm or 250mm
      Pretty easy and I’d argue so much more precise especially when we all work in millimetres.
      1 m

    • @prntrfxr
      @prntrfxr 5 років тому

      @@zedlicious You are right it is easier in that manner, but if someone says this is 105 centemeters long, it is hard to visualize. But if someone says this is 8 feet, 35 inches, or 3 yards, without a tape measure, most Americans can tell you how long it is. I can visualize meters, but the rest isn't as easy.
