I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, both obtained in the UK. The diploma is equivalent to a Master’s degree but did not required a dissertation. During my training, I completed over 3,000 hours of clinical placements in a variety of mental health settings, including forensic environments. I recently qualified and am currently working in early intervention for psychosis with the NHS. I’m interested in becoming a psychedelic therapist and was wondering what the quickest route to achieving this might be. My employer, the NHS, is keen to sponsor me for training as a CBT therapist for psychosis. Would this be relevant to my goal of becoming a psychedelic therapist at all, or would I need to pursue a Master's degree in psychotherapy specifically? I’m based in London and have found it challenging to connect with professionals who can guide me on this path. Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Tks
Yeah I’m almost done with my masters in CMHC and neuroscience/psychopharmacology for this exact field. After academic accreditation I’m going to get certified in it specifically.
Great show and great beard

What education is needed to become a psychedelic psychotherapist
A masters degree in a therapy related field, than to become certified to work with psychedelics

Vim and vigor. An old expression. From the 1800s
