Campground Review, Whittleton State Campground in Slade Kentucky - Hiking, Camping, Kayak, Off-Road, and Great Food
When down in Slade Kentucky we spent time to make a short video of the campground we stayed at. This is near the Natural Bridge State Park. There are 2 nice shorter hikes that leave this park and are worth checking out while in the area.
What type of camp equipment might I suggest for this camping park? Things like ground tents, roof top tents, offroad trailers, bridge hammocks, small recreational trailer, van life folks, and car campers. However large RV's like class C and so on might be a bit hard to navigate here. As far as I know there is no camp gear rental on site but you may find some place close due to this being a popular hiking and rock climbing area. I would also say this would be considered a family friendly place to go.
