We had a GREAT time at this RV park! And we're starting to get the hang of these new paddleboards 😎 Get 10% off here freeinsup.com/lifererouted using code LIFEREROUTED Love you guys!! ❤ What do you think of this RV park?! 👇
I lived five miles from there. Watched the park being build years ago. Before the lock was shut down, folks would cruise up the river from Frankfort. You are on the historic palisades of the KY River. Daniel Boone more than likely walked in that area. Your only a few miles from Harrodsburg.
We stayed here last year. So peaceful!! I sat out by the water in one of those big chairs for hours reading and one of workers came by and built a fire for me. My husband and I plan on returning next year
We stayed for a week and really appreciated the friendly staff. I was born not far away so it was handy to visit my old home-place from this campground. We would gladly go back.
We did a week at the KOA in Currituck North Carolina in the Outer Banks and the road in was like this one. It was a long narrow road that had water on both sides. But once we got there the site was amazing. It was right on the water and just beautiful. Sometimes you have to work a little to get that great spot to camp!! Great video kids, safe travels.
Glad to see you back on the road. I like your laid back style of telling the story. Saw where they posted your video on their Facebook page. Safe travels!
We are in a time crunch looking for a Rv park for next week. fingers crossed they have availability. You both made this place looks so peaceful and calming. Great footage and we truly appreciate you sharing. -The McCullough Family
We've been there twice in the last two years. We absolutely love the setting of Cummins Ferry. It's off the beaten path and the river is great for kayaking. Paddle up river and see the wild goats! Some things to know about Cummins Ferry...no cell service and the wi-fi is some where between terrible and doesn't work at all. Also, the sites are far from level and many are very sloped. Leveling your rig can be a challenge. Take lots of blocks, pads...whatever you need. The staff is very helpful and will lend you blocks if needed. The camp store is really nice too.
Thanks for the look at this campground - We live in Tennessee and are always looking for fairly close RV Parks that are not parking lots. This one looks great
We live in Lexington, drove out for our first time this past weekend. It was absolutely wonderful! Your video showcases all the things, we didn't want to leave either lol😊
We just a week at Cummins Ferry based off your review and several others as well. The way OUT was a bit daunting, BUT, even in the rain, our F350 SRW with the 7.3L got us out even in the rain. Towing a 13k fiver no less! According to the manager, he's never seen anyone not get out. 😅Even in the fall, it was AMAZING!!
You are "premium" UA-camrs in my book. Love that part of KY and you got some great footage of it. Safe travels! PS..I hope sasquatch finds a cool place in this heatwave..lol!
Hey there! We've been keeping them in the truck bed when they're deflated, and leaving them under the camper (with some air out) when they're inflated.

We didn't know that. That's amazing!
@@lifererouted would you say 11 days at piney resort is worth it or no? Wanted your thoughts

Looks like a great spot. We usually go to Tennessee, but have been wanting to check out Kentucky. We’re still looking for a place to retire.
It's worth the trip! We'll have to go back ❤️

You guys should check it out!

Aw thank you Larry! It's such an underrated area of the country! Haha I can imagine he's pretty hot in this weather 😆
The RV Park looks awesome! Also, if you go back, the Shaker Village is very cool 😎
That's what we've heard! Thanks so much! ❤️
Looks like a cool spot. You need stop on back. Safe travels
We'll have to do that! Thanks so much ❤️
Really cool RV park! Quick question…where do y’all keep your paddle boards? Always enjoy following your adventures! We have a 2600RB too!
Hey there! We've been keeping them in the truck bed when they're deflated, and leaving them under the camper (with some air out) when they're inflated.
The pool shot was a bit short, so we did not se: Do they have a wheelchair lift?
There does not appear to be a wheelchair lift. Thanks so much for watching!
Are there any sites for tents?
Not at this campground. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a Brad Simmons listing at one time maybe.
Is this the best rv park in america?
