I wish everyone who made installation videos was as thorough and informative as you.. No cheesy music, relevant tips and warnings, clear and concise instructions.. You’re in a class of your own buddy…Thanks for the great videos!
Those lower control arms bolts are a huge PITA to take off. I added a rear camber adjuster kit on the back of my 2019 lx hatch after i put new wheels and lowered it with eibach sportline springs. You coudlnt pay me to do that job again, lol
Video is for visual. Did it the right way with it on the ground. Still makes noise. Metal against metal will always make noise. I'm pretty sure the end links are the culprit. The noise isn't that loud. Just makes small metal contact sound while hitting bumps. Doesn't bother me.
@@johnsneverendinglistofrand1377 True man. I tried to install it on the ground or put them in place on jack stand then torque them down after I put them on the ground. They are still making clunking noise. Mine is too loud that bother me so bad. I am giving up now. Im thinking to put stock back.
Appreciate the detailed install. I'm going to tackle this on my FK8 in the spring. Did you get any noise out of this setup? If it's too clunky I might go with stock endlinks and leave the brace out for now.
Great Video! Very detailed. Question. do you think the subframe adds to the performance? Does it remove even more understeer? I have the rear swaybar and it feels great but car still rolls. I heard adding feont sway will take away feom the rear swaybara oversteer. maybe I can counter that with the eibach subframe? thanks!
Supposed to make the frame flex less. I don't feel the difference since I don't drive the car often. Maybe select the more aggressive adjustment on the swaybar?
It's not required because the car comes stock with a small sway bar already. It's just there to reinforce the subframe. It's not as flashy as the older civics because it can't be seen if someone if driving behind you.

lol. Glad you got it done.
Great video. Looks easy but not at the same time.
I heard you have to install the sway bar with loaded suspension. Can't lift them up because it will make clunking noise.

@@cristianonguyen87 did you figure anything out
Whiteline makes an adjustable endlink set. Not spherical bearings. Like stock with poly bushings.

The end links are noisy. Sounds like loose metal parts in the rear. I've gotten used to it by now.
I appreciate the info. I'll probably stick some stock ones in there instead of the adjustables 👍
If I’m not putting a brace on , I don’t need to move the control arm upwards right ?
Correct. If you're just adding a sway bar then you just need to unbolt the old one then bolt on the new one.

Great video and detailed walk through!
Insurance increase? 🤔
Don't think so.
Thanks and good job. I'm about to do the same to my 10th gen Si.
Is it necessary to install the subframe brace when upgrading the rear sway bar?
No you can install the sway bar by itself.
It's not required because the car comes stock with a small sway bar already. It's just there to reinforce the subframe. It's not as flashy as the older civics because it can't be seen if someone if driving behind you.
do you get clunking noise from the spherical endlinks?
Yes there is noise from the end-links.
@@johnsneverendinglistofrand1377 might be cause you tighten the endlinks without load
How much of a difference did this mod make?
The sway bar made a huge difference. Response is better and less body roll.
I added the brace just to reinforce the subframe.
Thanks for the nice video.
Hi, Do you get a clunk sound after the install??
Yeah. I think it's from the endlinks.
Haven't really looked into it though.
