It's small, yet big enough to keep anyone occupied.
There are lots of great "Mom & Pop" style stores and restaurants. But, if you need larger retail, Conroe offers those, too.
Located just 40 miles north of Houston, Conroe has been a vacation hot spot for years. It's a growing community that has maintained its small-town feel.

How’s the weather out there during the winter ? Is there any flooding? I’m just asking because we planning to move there or San Antonio all my family already lives in SA

hello i am thinking of writing a novel that takes place in conroe texas, is there anything i should know about this place that would make my novel more realistic? i do acknowledge that its kind of dumb to make a novel take place somewhere you have never been (im canadian) but what im writing seems like it would fit perfectly here.

Conroe is not a small town it’s growing even bigger plus our Walmart SUCKS! We only have 1 small Walmart in the area and it’s always crowded if I could leave I would !
