This is my first time seeing your channel and I don't know how many more I'm going to watch if you keep using the same insert of the products every twenty seconds. Very annoying. And the sound doesn't help. Other than that, very helpful and educational. Just stop repeating shots and sound clips. It doesn't take much more time to shoot more b-roll.

@@Frenchpresscoffeelove I actually only noticed this after our friend's hissy fit above. For me, it's not really unbearable, as @Scott mentioned, it's more of an "oh, not again" situation. Toning it down a bit would do no harm.
Congratulations on the channel, a lot of information and you get it through to us very easily!

Ok, the sound effects AFTER the guy is done are for sure something worth toning down. TOO LOUD, and what the point of the bell?
Other than that, fantastic video and tips

If you like the bolder coffee the french press produces but want a clearer cup you can simply pour your press yield onto a cone paper filter (any cone filter) and that's it. The filter will retain the solids, most oils and debris way better than ANY press filter, regardless its price. So for me any double walled stainless steel press can do the trick and don't worry too much about the filter. Immersion brewing is my favorite method and it's very simple indeed.

The problem with the clever dripper is that the oils of the coffee are left with the paper filter, leaving you with a more acidic coffee. The natural oils in the coffee maintain a more alkaline pH than the clever dripper.

Haha I'm from Malaysia, we have here sort of like Walmart I think, called Mr. DIY, which sells cheap imitation stuff and a Japanese dollar store called Daiso which sells stuff for about 1 dollar each. I just started to learn about western/italian coffee and its gears and stuff since last month. Got my first cheap French press for about 5usd from Mr DIY. And then got the imitation 'clever dripper' from Daiso 😁 So cheap and good coffee! Unfortunately I broke the French Press when plunging up & down after watching video of frothing milk for latte art with FP 😂
As I've learned bit more about coffee since, I thought it's fair to reward myself with a proper smallest 3 cups Bodum FP, just because it looks nice and oh well I admit, I'm capitalism victim 😂. It costs 4 times more than the el-cheapo and guess what? The coffee tasted the same 😂
I'll be careful not to break this one 😊

Thank you. You asked wrong person because we love them all :). But we use double-wall Stainless Steel French Press when we need to store coffee for few hours (Espro press is awesome). But we love glass French Press for general use because you can see everything. So it really depend on your you needs. Enjoy your Coffee.

Thank you. Great question. Actually all Espro Presses with stop coffee extraction once you press it (thanks to unique filter design). So you don't have to pour it to another carafe or mug. Hope this helps. You can also take a look our Espro P5 Review ua-cam.com/video/EWQXc2acBk4/v-deo.html. Enjoy your coffee.

french press are cheaper than clever drippers so if you don't enjoy the taste of coffee oils and want a paper filter to remove most of the oils then just put a paper filter in your french press :)

Double walled french presses can brew much better because of better heat retention. Clever drippers and steep devices like the Hario switch tend to loose heat and water thanks to evaporative cooling, which hugely affects extraction. In a french press your water volume remains the same as long as the plunger is installed. On the clever you'll certainly loose some water volume and temperature, so you need to compensate for this. On the press things are much more forgiving.

Only $22 for a piece of plastic that will sit in a landfill for longer than I will live. Sounds like a good deal to me. Would love to see you guys actually put out some videos on sustainable products. Plastics stores flavors from every Brew, and even if it's bpa-free there's still potential for toxic chemicals to be released. It's less but there's still the possibility.
