  • Covalence is a puzzle style cooperative card game with a highly accurate chemistry theme! All players must work together to accurately build a number of secret organic molecules. Only one player knows the chemical structure of these molecule (the "knower"), but that player may NOT talk. All other players must use a limited number of clues given to them by the Knower, as well as the tiles in front of them, to build these secret molecules. If all players can work together to cooperatively construct all the required molecules before the clues run out, they win!

I'm thankful for this video. Going to try it out tonight. In the instruction booklet, does it say how many Carbons nitrogen and Oxygens to give for easy/med/and hard? I don't see that, but rather in the instructions it just said to put them in separate piles.

I can't speak to Medium and Hard, but Easy gives each player 3 Carbon, 2 Oxygen, 2 Nitrogen, and 7 Hydrogen.

I am a bit confused how the guess tokens work. If a builder guesses and they are wrong then there is no way to win, for example in a 3 person game there are 6 guess tokens and each builder has 3 molecules to build. One wrong guess and there is no way to get all 6 molecules completed. Clearly we are misunderstanding something. I hope this makes sense. Thx for helping us.

When you play a guess token, both players get their molecule checked, so by spending one guess token you can confirm both molecules are built correctly, you could win the game in a minimum of three guess tokens.
