They fall for the passion, screw up lives and then have to live with someone they know wouldn't hesitate to cheat the next time this happens. My ex left me for his coworker and he later explained that they had to agree to make their marriage one of convience and an open marriage because they cannot ever trust each other. I could care less as I'm living my best life with my hubby that raised my ex's children like his own and treats me like a queen! Trust me, they know what the other is capable of and they live with that everyday they are together!

Humanity scares me.. That people seriously blame the other person, and not the one who’s actually CHEATING on their partner. And no, it’s not the person who’s single’s job to stay away, if someone really loves their partner they would be able to sleep naked with others and not lay a finger on them. Love triangles makes good stories that sells good in the media, but what scares me the most is that people still cares about it over a decade later.. After his divorce from Lombard, the Queen of screwball comedies, he dated the late great blonde bombshell and super talented Jean Harlow whose first husband Paul Berns committed suicide apparently in the same house as the Manson/Tate murders! Then Harlow who wanted to marry Powell died of uremic poisoning at age 26, then Lombard married the King of Hollywood, handsome,very talented Clark Gable! They struggled with infertility problems and never had kids and then she was killed at age 32 in a tragic plane crash with her mother while coming back from selling war bonds. Gable went on to become a functioning i.e. barely alcoholic and died of a heart attack while making the classic movie, ""The Misfits" starring the late great beautiful, sexy, very talented Marilyn Monroe who either committed suicide at age 36 or was possible murdered by the Italian Mafia, the jury is still out on that one! But, the late Peter Lawford who was a brother in law of the late great JFK, was a notorious womanizer, alcoholic and drug addict who went to his grave knowing far more than he ever let on! And around and around it goes, where or if it stopped no one really knows!

Did any of these even last? The one I'm most familiar with is Billy Crudup leaving pregnant girlfriend Mary Louis Parker for Claire Danes. And then Claire Danes leaves him and is now married to Hugh Dancy and have two children together.
A lot of really selfish people, but I do think being an actor, spending large amounts of time away from your spouse/partner while "pretending" to be in love with someone else can't be good for a relationship. I mean, I think a lot of us would be vulnerable to this in that situation. That being said, cheaters are really, really selfish and gross.

The Brit Superstars of each generation have always known each other "intimately" for years. They all went to the same acting schools like RADA, provincial theaters and Brit TV when they were on the way up. Its really a relatively small group of talented actors in the UK. When Carrie Fisher married Paul Simon Carrie was ecstatic. After a while Paul left Carrie and she was devastated. She thought that she couldn't go on with life but, she did. It's a shame that she could never kick the drug habit and eventually it did kill her and subsequently her mother Debbie Reynolds died as a result. She was just too traumatized. Carrie had died right after a plane flight.

Why is it famous people don't learn that marrying so fast isn't the way to go?
When you first meet someone, yes, you may feel that spark but then real life sets in, you're used to one another, their habits etc and the honeymoon period is over.
That is when the real test of love comes into play.
It's as if they meet, feel that spark and feel that's the time to marry when you should get to know one another deeply, live together and know one another's habits, good points and bad and only then will you realise if you truly love them and can live each day with them.
Soulmates don't require vast amounts of time prior to marriage/relationships as they've known each other forever. The only difficult part is discerning former lovers and friends. Sometimes that can be downright tricky!

That has to be it. I haven't seen that movie and will now. My favorite movie used to be The Crucible. While now I think the soundtrack is pretty cheesy as is a lot of the filming, some of it is amazingly shot and I love the period costumes and the moral questions it raises no matter which way you think you'd go on the issues. Whatever ‘scandal’ the adults get up to is really their own choice. It’s the children I feel sorry for. They are the ones who really get hurt, and they never have any say in the matter. Especially very little children, who can’t possibly understand why Mummy or Daddy have suddenly disappeared from their lives, and I’m sure many times are told that the person who was one of the cornerstones of their little lives, and who they still love unconditionally, is suddenly a terrible person and that some random stranger is now their new parent. I just can’t understand how so-called adults can do that to little ones whom they should be loving and protecting, just because the sex is more exciting with their latest co-star. And many in Hollywood are serial offenders who in later years claim that they don’t understand why their kids turned to drugs or alcohol when “I gave them everything that money can buy” Everything except the love and security which is all any child really wants.
