- "How To With John Wilson" creator and director John Wilson breaks down how he turned an episode about bird watching turned into a conspiracy thriller involving the Titanic. He reveals the pain-staking process of finding a duplicate of his car, the ideal unsuspecting participant and the perfect location to stage an explosive climactic finale. He also shares a ton of behind the scenes footage, including a consulting call with Steven Soderbergh that morphed a conversation about The Cheesecake Factory.

3 seasons is approximately 7 seasons too few for this show to have run. Bring it back, John! It's too good!
I respect ending it early, it'd probably be stressful to promise more seasons. But, I think occasional specials would be great.
Better to end a great show too soon than too late imo.
He's an absolute genius. An uncelebrated master.
Bruce Beveridge was an absolute gem. Great find.
Always wanted to hear the behind the scenes on this one, would be so dope if John made a commentary track for a physical release!
My god a commentary track would be amazing you're so right
Brilliant idea.
It would be great but impossible to listen to. 2 dueling John Wilson voiceovers?
@@JhordanshmuI mean the whole show is technically a commentary track. Anything beyond that would ruin the deliberate obfuscation of reality that the show is going for (i.e. provoking the audience to consider the artifice of documentary filmmaking)
Bring this show back, HBO!!!
Awesome! Love when lower-budget projects go all out for their finals. Wondershowzen did something fairly similar with not an explosion but using a helicopter
best show ever. like ever.
He’s got the most wonderful impish grin…he knows this is an 8 year old child’s dream job.
loved every minute of this!!
Holy shit he really looks a bit like Ryan Gosling
Ryan Reynolds chill cousin
I'm basically a part time Titanic Truther now.
So cool, I didn’t realize Ryan Gosling’s brother was a documentarian
I live in north Alabama so I grew up visiting Pigeon Forge, hilarious to see you do this in a Flapjacks parking lot lmao!
He’s lookin good! Man’s been getting some sun
