For that kind of money, simply use it as a down payment on an original '69 or '70 Boss 429; Which will be worth more than this.

200 hundred grand ?
Right, that seems to be way off. That motor is about $25k tops if you buy it directly from Kaase racing engines, wheels from summitracing, but the car itself is nowhere near that.
Nice car, but why would anyone spend over $200K to build and sell for $140K or less?
People die, divorce, health issues, business opportunities, etc. etc. Im not sure on this car situation though
That's the way it goes when you pay professionals to do the work, you never get that labor back out of it at resale time. Unless you can do the work yourself, resale is always at at loss. It's always best to buy a restored vehicle rather than buying a rough one and paying to have it restored
What an Awesome example of this iconic car model. Based on this extensive video there is not a single flaw! I like that the video is amateur like it was done by an enthusiast and not a car seller. Adding the price is a good move too. I reckon this video will sell it. If I had a lazy $140k USD (I'm Australian) I would buy it and ship it over here. So often enthusiasts over spend on their love and are then forced to sell. Same with yachts. The price of toys like these is highly volatile depending on how the economy is travelling. The trick is to buy when the economy is bad and sell when it's up.
