Hey Mate. Absolutely love your channel. I've watched pretty much everyone of your videos. I like that you give a bit of info on the places you travel thru. I myself have been driving for many years. Keep it up, keep posting, and maybe some day we'll meet up on the blacktop. Stay safe out there.
As a retired Interstater, its hard sitting here watching, it makes me want to get back out on the road but those days are well and truly gone, So I just have to keep watching and remember my time on the road especially the roadhouses you visit and I see the change from years ago, Keep up the great work and more importantly keep safe, cheers mate.
Thanks heaps. Do you think I show too many good points about my job and that's it's not a balanced view? I don't think that is what you're saying. I nearly always have a good run.
You really have covered all bases in my book there's bits of everything in witch I enjoy cause like different country towns that some people wouldn't had heard of your drone work takes the cake I like that I wouldn't be able to get the thing off the ground 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video mate! Regarding the flies, I know in Sweden that you wont have a fly problem but there will be an equal amount of mosquitoes in summer eating you alive up there! I guess spraying oneself full of repellent should be advised either way ;)
Thanks for taking us around Australia on your travels. I am seeing places that I have not been to, especially the remote places that you go. What brand engine powers the Kenworth, it sure sounds tough. I am going to subscribe to your channel and like them as well. Thanks for the video.
Ha ha if I get a toastie on the road now it gets the squeeze test, if I can’t make the crust move I hand it back and ask for a fresh one. Nothing worse than a toasted sandwich what’s harder than the bull bar on ya truck. Another great one man a lot of country travelled.
You got it Brad. Sometimes they say it's just been made and I foolishly trust them. I'm very sorry later when I take my first bite. I think it's just safer to ask for a new one from the start.

Travelling across the Nullarbor last year by myself I had the exact same conversation with myself about the flys (almost word for word 😂😂). After about an hour of talking to myself about it I decided I should leave it as a mystery and go back to listening to music. Great video 👍
I don't know where to start. I loved it all. You make it look so easy. The music and photography were excellent. This 2 part trip was some of your best work. I loved it all. Keep safe and carry out showing us places in this great country
Jono, as you were driving through Nevertire I was reminded of the highway Patrols who would park over the railway line in the dip near the grain silo, if you didn't bring your rig to a dead stop at the railwayline, Bamm ....a couple of hundred dollar fine, they cleaned up in wheat season mno driver wants to pull 2 trailers with loaded 'hungry boards' to a complete stop on the rise up to the line, my pay suffered a couple of times although you usually got a heads up on the UHF unless you were 1st cab off the rank. The trip your on is like a Slim Dusty song , Gonna take my dog for a run , about a Truckie in his Bulldog Mack from Sydney to Perth , another great vid ! 😊
Part 2 was great mate. I’m surprised Cappy was so quiet, usually it’s flat out. There’s a good little café at Menzies opposite the pub next time you’re up that way with plenty of parking in the big truck parking bay. Also Kumarina is my favourite old style roadhouse, there’s a little diner out the back which you might have missed. Love the drone work.
Thanks again. It was a Sunday when I was at Cappy so maybe that's why it was quiet. Yes Kumarina is very nice. I was hoping I would pass there during dinner to show all that was on offer.
Love your content! Here in Kenya, we don't have flies everywhere. Only around dead animals and trash heaps. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I had to swat away a fly.
Another fantastic video. The Drone footage around Bunda Cliffs, then around the Auski Roadhouse shows some of the spectacular scenery to be seen around Aus. Makes me want to hitch up the caravan and go west again. Soon hopefully.
Great videos, makes my run seem boring. Same run every week,Mulberry, Arkansas to the Los Angeles, California area and back. I've been driving thru this United States 54 years, I'm 71 years old and still trucking 🚚. Be safe 🙏
Thanks for another “awesome”, which it truly is, video. The narrative is interesting and photography is amazing, in particular, the drone flight over such incredible scenery.

Hi Johnno, Love your video's and your candid humor, you make trucking fun and interesting. I've not long just started a trucking 'career' in my late 50's carting (mainly) cattle around the SW of Western Australia in a Bobtail & Trailer. Hope to see/pass you on the road one day. Keep up the awesome vids :)
I live in Western Canada, foothills of the Rocky Mountains…I think I saw three flies this month, might be mistaken though. One might have been a bee 🤨. Your road trains in Australia are fascinating. Really interesting road trips, thanks.

Seeing you brushing off the flies took me back to my days in the UK army when I spent a couple of years in Libya (before Col Gadafi ) flies were a real pest there. I’m a borne kiwi, also Australian. Flies in NZ can be annoying but not anything like here in Australia. I have lived in the Pilbara for about 35 years and the flies are insane !!! lol. They are a bush fly, not the type assosiated with rotting meat. They are atracted to the moisture on your body.

@@RoadTrainAdventures I live very close to the Victorian Alps aka Vic high country so the 'bush' on your travels is just a bit different to locally. I worked in the gold mines in Norseman in the early 80's so it's been a while since I've ventured over thataway. 😄
It was 1974 that I met a bloke in Bulahdela that had a little motorbike on the front of his trailer that he used when parking was a problem if he had to go shopping.
Well done Johnno. I really enjoy it when you do these long trip style videos. Not to much drone footage which I also appreciate. Maybe when you do these type of videos you could reference the total trip length. Congrats
BTW I meant to mention on the salads not being filling there are a few things that make a difference. First we get Cheese in oil (obviously leave the oil in the jar!)which means it does not need to be refrigerated till opened, Balsamico Creme which is a vinegar based sauce but it acts like it is oily but has none, the other thing is olives in a jar, and a bread roll. This is how we make a simple salad an evening meal. If you have a fridge on board you could pre-do the mix to add to a more simple salad. Just thought I would share. The only flies we get are because of the cattle farm over the road. I remember up in Qsld we stopped at the roadside and I went in the bushes and found a skeleton of a dead cow. I can only assume that there is enough of this, including dead goats on the road ;) , for them to survive. It must be hard driving into the setting sun like that...@19:15... On the food thing why don't you have a fridge as we do in the camper and load it with stuff from home? Too much hassle? Love the trip info, history and the realities of being on the road. Great mix. I know it takes a lot to film, edit and compile... Can't wait for the next; stay safe! Alex.,
Thanks Alex. Of course I have a fridge. It's full of Coke, chocolate and milk. All the essentials. Ha ha The salad does sound good but I don't like cooking or preparing meals so I'm happy just to buy it. When I travel into the sun I can make my seat higher and have a big sun visor.
I'm a truckdriver from Poland and I very like watching how your job look like.

@@julianjordan789 Thanks Julian. That's what I was hoping to do.
Great content. Gives me feet itching to go places and I can hear the bush beckoning me.
There is no place like the bush so yes, come on out.
@@RoadTrainAdventures I live very close to the Victorian Alps aka Vic high country so the 'bush' on your travels is just a bit different to locally. I worked in the gold mines in Norseman in the early 80's so it's been a while since I've ventured over thataway. 😄
@@erroneouscode oh very nice
Gday Johnno, awesome vids and channel. I think I spotted you…this morning (7/5/24)on Monash heading west with a single?? Maybe someone else…
I was on the Monash twice yesterday but not today. I'm back in Deniliquin now.
@@RoadTrainAdventuresbummer mate, thought it was you. Always looking out for your truck😝
Keep looking. I'll be there somewhere. I'm heading back and forth to Sydney for the next two days.
Will do
Very good
Love ya work mate ,,safe trucking
Awesome. Thanks Daniel
It was 1974 that I met a bloke in Bulahdela that had a little motorbike on the front of his trailer that he used when parking was a problem if he had to go shopping.
That's a great idea Bruce.
Well done Johnno. I really enjoy it when you do these long trip style videos. Not to much drone footage which I also appreciate. Maybe when you do these type of videos you could reference the total trip length. Congrats
Thanks Derek. I think the total trip was 5000km from one side to the other.
Hi Johno excellent video as usual how much weight did you have with that steel on ? Stay safe regards bob
Thanks Bob. I was pretty light. I think I had around 25 to at most for both trailers.
THANKS JOHNNO ,AWESOME PHOTOGRAPHY .TRAVELLING EAST TTO WEST PORT HEADLAND .👍
I'm back at that mine right now then I'll be heading to Perth.
Drive safe as always johnno.luve your work Mateee.
@@garrypointer Very nice. Thanks Garry
Mate must be passing you somewhere getting into Hedland tomorrow, but i am on my way to Broome
Too late. I'm in Perth now
Hiya John, Soo many flies? maybe they are on the summer holidays LOL. Don't you carry a head net??
No I don't like wearing anything over my head.
Ha ha
The salad does sound good but I don't like cooking or preparing meals so I'm happy just to buy it.
When I travel into the sun I can make my seat higher and have a big sun visor.
Keep up the good good work, where you’re offsider
My offsider?
Well done johnno interesting videos cool drone and theme music flies here in nz in the summer but nothing like you guys have
Awesome. Thanks Brian
Australia is a Great Country mate i agree with you there
Very nice. Thanks
Thanks for showing us around Johno, enjoy the trip back to Sydney from Perth.😊
Very nice. Thanks Rick
My hat is off to these road train drivers what a tough job without them the assies would be staving
Thanks John. Yes we do a job that not everyone wants to do.
Top vid Johnno can,t believe the price of food in some places just a rip off .
Thanks Andrew. I used to complain in some areas but in the middle of nowhere I have to expect higher prices.
Awesome!
Very nice. Thanks Ezekiel
