To look to much into someone you are not close to in the eyes is considered rude from both Humans and Gorilla. You try it go up to someone and look at them in the eyes while saying nothing they are either going to get mad at you and ask what your problem is then confront you or they put there head down in fear and walk away. Also the same as Gorilla, humans will, seek support from nere by friends or family if there is a masculine man around He will confront you.

Bamboo shoots: But before they can be consumed, the shoots need their fibrous exteriors cut away, and then the shoots need to be boiled. When eaten raw, bamboo contains a toxin that produces cyanide in the gut. Many Asian grocery stores will sell freshly prepared bamboo shoots that have already been detoxified. Don’t worry about the canned variety: They’re perfectly safe to eat without further cooking.

Summary: Koko's IQ is 85-95, the lower spectrum of human intelligence. She understands spoken English without the help of signs, She can recognize herself in a mirror. Her GSL is not body language, they are specific hand movements, the reason why it is called "GSL" is because Koko changed some signs to better suit her fingers.

Yeah, the gorillas came up to her. You just don't see the whole clip. They chopped and diced out the boring parts. That was one of the parts that was cut out. You're not allowed to willingly sit that close. So, the gorillas had to have come up to her, in which case she couldn't have just gotten up and moved as fast movements tend to trigger them. Just saying.

Many thanks for the presentation. This affirms that we have to share planet Earth with many other species.

"share planet Earth" Which means we have to get back to maybe 2 billion, from our obscene, multiplying-like-rabbits-landing-like-locust level of 7,800,000,000 --
which would also make a huge difference when horror things happen (like Australia fires, bubonic plague, an asteroid hit, melting Russian and Canadian tundra, melting icecaps).

I love how proud the gorilla was, with pushing the human over and getting away with it. I betcha they learn to be a tad wary of humans.

Man, seeing that poor gorilla with the missing foot makes my blood boil. I was going to say it made me hopping mad but realized that would be a poor choice of words in this situation. The only thing that makes me angrier than people shooting these magnificent creatures is people who set traps and snares like that. They're so damned inhumane and so cruel.
