Great vid mate. Subbed. I've got the same tent in the same colour. I prefer it for the nice bright colour inside. It's absolutely bomb proof. Been in 70 mph winds and the tent didn't bend an inch. It's light enough for me. Good ventilation when it's warmer too. Perfect tent for the UK hills, I'd say. Take care mate. 👍💪
Great tent for the hills in all weather conditions. This tent in red is not everyone’s favourite colour and I think most go for sand. I like the red colour for the night time photos that I take during the winter. I’ve not had the tent in any strong winds yet and I’m hoping the next time we get a storm I’ll take it out on the hills and see how it performs. Thanks for subbing mate👍 All the best, Gaz👍

I was in long hesitation whether buying Solo or Akto but finally bought Akto but it looks Solo is quite nice because it is taller.... So beautiful sunrise in Scottish hills and mountains. Thank you
I bought the Soulo for the higher head height and how it’s structured as it’s easy to pitch and take down. I was out last night in the Soulo again and the weight let’s it down a little bit but it’s heavy build quality is great for shorter hikes during the winter in harsher conditions. ATB.

Thanks for coming over to my channel Benny. I started recording my trips last September when I started solo wild camping and I started speaking to Robin back in December. I should be meeting up again with Robin at some point after all lockdown restrictions are lifted. The Pentlands is definitely worth putting on your to do list. Great hills and you could easily spend a full weekend here and not get bored. If you see me out on the hills give us a wave. It’s always great seeing others about enjoying the great outdoors. Very interesting video cause I am about to go on my first overnight wild camp in the Soulo. Just bought it before going on holiday and now I am back itching to get using it. Glad to see yours was a positive experience with it on the first outing. Great stuff.

I think everyone loves the Soulo. I got it in red for the photos, but more in particular the thumbnails. I’ll only use this tent on the hills so don’t mind the bright red colour. It’s a great tent and I look forward to my next camp in it already. ATB.

Yes it is quite a nice tent, great for photos too. I've always used the wayfayrer meals as it saves washing dishes after the camps. It was a really nice spot for a camp with 360 views from the top overlooking different parts of the Pentlands. I was hoping for a calm morning, but when the alarm went off and I was woken to the wind on the tent I knew it was time to go. Thanks for watching, ATB. Gaz.
I was the exact same every time I left the tent I felt freezing, but inside the tent was toasty warm. Hope you enjoyed your camp last Sunday. ATB cheers for watching👍

Orkid. music I’ve never tried beans and burgers but I’ve got a pack in my house somewhere so I’ll try it on my next camp which will hopefully be next week. I’m the same I can’t wait for the spring and the clocks going forward then I’ll start doing maybe 2 uploads a week instead of just 1.
I don’t use a microphone on my GoPro I have a wind foam shield over the mic and edit the volume when editing the video to increase or decrease the volume to make it sound more natural. I’ve used this setup since I got my GoPro Hero 8 and it worked quite well and saved money. Thanks for watching and there are good vlog GoPro setup videos on UA-cam that cover mics.

I did consider the Akto too, but the Soulo is so well regarded, it seems to be a no brainer. They're bringing out a black label version imminently too. So, I'll hold off for a little while. I was up there on Sunday night at the East cairn for a wild camp. Very cold night. Great once in the tent though.
