Danny is a beast that the other TOOL members released from hell to play epic drums. He's gigantic, his voice is intimidating, and it sounds like he has an extra pair of fucking everything when he plays
3:20 yeah, I've never understood critics labeling Tool as Metal. They're Progressive Rock, if anything...and I've heard Prog-Metal and it's a completely different beast than what Tool sound like.

They did an audio stream on toolband.com shortly before Lateralus came out, answering fan questions being asked by a Mac speech program I remember listening to it in my high school computer lab maybe a week later (I didn't have internet at home yet) and laughing my ass off as quietly as I could at that part

Yeah, agreed, I think it came from the initial stuff they released. They are a prog act.
