Ah, that first Sling rivet, I remember it well! Pulled the first rivet on my Sling 4 back in 2014. I've been flying mine for the last year and a half and *LOVE* it. I'll be flying it into Oshkosh for the first time this year. See you there! 🙂
Is yours the TSI or does the highwing have a “4” variant too?

Flying a pipistrel virus sw now for survey work. This aircraft has my utmost interest if pipistrel doesn’t do something like this in the near future, four seat high wing, no wing strut. Beautiful craft.

A beautiful episode! The start of another epic adventure JP! Mike Blyth has inspired so many of us. I was lucky to have my first flight instruction from him early 1991 and have never looked back. Sling Aircraft are powered by his energy, knowledge and passion for aviation and adventure. Awesome that you get to build and fly an aircraft with that DNA! The school boy dream becomes reality.. I mean.. what's not to love?

That's how it all starts - the "first rivet". That was enough for me that's what I named my YT channel for my low wing SlingTsi build. I'm looking forward to seeing the high wing this year at Osh. I totally would have done the high wing had it been available when I started mine - but who knows - maybe the next one? :D
