      "music" would have ruined it. When these beautiful videos have annoying background "music" I turn the sound off, but with this video the gentle sounds of the car moving along the road and the people talking was so soothing and even before I read your comment I was thinking how lovely and how unusual not to be blasted with pointless "music". I am sure they will put a noise over, which will mask the interesting soft sounds of the journey, just like all the other youtube videos ruined by "music".

    What a boring drive. I do the Brenner (Ancona to Dunkerque and back) every December, but never use the motorway. Much prettier driving on the real roads, no tolls or vignette to pay, and never a problem with snow or ice. Coffee is cheaper in the cafes too !

      Thanks for the tip! Just planning a scooter ride from High Wycombe to Florence this month and will take your suggestion into account avoiding motorways for the return journey...
