I typically can't stand watching build guide videos for ARPGs and just read the text guide. This video is one of the only full guides I think I have watched for any build in any game. You are extremely informative and have a nice easy to follow laid back attitude while laying out the build in its entirety. I am loving the Warlock so far and have used this build to set myself up for success. Keep up the great content!
Also your complete Forge tutorial video was incredibly helpful as well haha!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
But you replace the old Bone Curse curse to the new one. The new one only reduces the resistance of the enemy.
So when you convert it to Necrotic damage, that original curse that adds extra hits does not exist anymore
Thank you for your incredible content. I especially liked your insights into how the 2 different weapons work, gameplay mechanics (snapshotting, building stacks, etc). Overall, I also like your casual talking style. I sub. I hope you make more content. Marksman please. I know there are already guides on Marksman. But i enjoyed your content delivery and insights
I probably won't be making any marksman content until 1.1 at this point I'm tired of the 'have to re-level then get do normal monos then do all blessings then push corruption" before I get to play the game. But I definitely want to play Marksman at some point in the future.
@@Tenkiei totally understand. That's how I feel too. I wish campaign & associated passives & idol slots could be skipped entirely like how D4 is
I don't mind the campaign part per-se, what I dislike is the fact that you then need to do monos which takes almost as long, blessings which takes almost as long and corruption which takes even longer. Then before you know it you've spent 30 hours on a build that walked in with full Legendary / Exalted items from L50... and not yet been remotely challenged.
@Tenkiei agree - it would be great if EHG allows alts to start empowered mono right away and have items (idols etc) for bonus corruption. D4 is nice in that you can jump tiers by simply crafting sigils. Can you please help send such suggestions to EHG? Game needs some help with leveling alts in most areas, especially corruption leveling
Ho im using your build buttt on maxxroll its not bone curse its 20 pts in transplant ?
Honest question: Why do you take the Armor/Minion Armor node in Acolyte, and not the Vitality node?
Because the build's primary defense is Ward not Life, and 2000 already felt pretty comfy.
@@Tenkiei Ah. I was thinking of the minor Necrotic and Poison Resistance you got from Vitality as additional scaling.
I think Wheel of Torment Warlock is also a really solid alternative to a bleed warlock.
I had a fissure variant using the top right node "of gloom and flames" and also chaos bolts. Since it's a straight 100% multiplier for torments released, it was an absolute no-brainer for me once I figured out a sweetspot with mana management. I also maxed out the chaos bolts node and I specced into both chaos bolts and rip blood. Fissures would proc chaos bolts and chaos bolts would proc rip blood. Everything had leech and rip blood gave me even more hp. For a while I even specced into bone golem going the bottom right path where it's hits would ALSO heal me and itself. Every time I got hit I just healed it right back up, it was really fun. Later though I got rid of the golem because it was quite annoying when I couldn't lure stuff over the fissure directly.
So yeah the single target was absolutely insane with all the debuffs and dots stacking all while being able to spam chaos bolts directly with the right nodes as you get mana back and leech and proc rip blood all the time. I started 1.0 with it fresh and It was absolutely smooth sailing all throughout. At first I thought you're reliant on things standing on the fissure directly for most of it's damage, but when I min-maxed it more and more, I noticed just how good the clear was just like that and when things stood on the fissure it was literally just an extra. For bosses obviously you'd want it directly on them though for max dps.
Highly recommend if you like damage over time, super high sustain and incredibly easy to play with barely any buttons to press when doing echoes. Just transplant around, hit your fissure and that's it.
Hi, how do think this build will perform after ward bug fix to profane veil that is comming soon?
I excluded the bug from this setup entirely so it wouldn't be impacted.
@@Tenkiei awesome thanks 😀thanks you for this guide, starting warlock right now😉
@@Tenkiei Wise choiice my friend!
How much did you play/like the build without immolater's belt?
Is it still worth going for when knowing I will never get the belt?
Why cant you get the belt? I mean, once you learn the fight/dungeon it isnt so bad.
Dont limit yourself.
you will get 0 or 1lp belt easily in few runs. for other you will neeed to grind more
@@lincolnjohnson4428 for me the dungeon was easy, it was the 47 runs it took for the belt to drop that wasn’t 😂
@@stab3111 Oh wow.. unlucky.
Which stat on immolator's oblation is most important? Do you want a high chance to self-ignite? Or is +spell damage 6 more important?
The +6, chance to self-ignite doesn't matter (much) due to the gloves.
I did exactly what you did but transitioned to torment too early and didnt have enough equipment. Torment build still works but is much slower at killing things. Ill have to switch back to bleed and farm the proper stuff before swapping again.
does spirit plague stack for single target? i didn't think that it did?
If you spec for bleed and poisons, repeated casts will stack those two debuffs.
Awesome build!
Atm im using a self made one, with chaos bolt + fissure (traversal) and bone curse with profane veil ward
Self made? So basically what 99% of other warlocks use?
So as a bleed warlock I felt like I'd just ignore torment warlock since it seems like very similar gameplay, is it actually an upgrade?
Infinitely better hands down.
Can't compare.
Torment warlock is sss tier without exploit
Can I get away with substituting Chaos Bolts for Bone Curse ? I can use Chaos bolts to cast the Bone Curse - and I really want to have a direct attack option ...
Not really no, Bone Curse and Chaos Bolts serve different purposes, you could use Chaos Bolts but then you'll need to build into damned chance / application, and also fix mana. So instead it would probably be a completely different build vs a substitution.
I think later in the game when Spirit plague has a small AOE I'll feel like I have a proper attack. For leveling up, I am still leaning towards Chaos Bolts use. Bad Idea ?@@Tenkiei
Chaos bolts is a spell which hits, Torment is a DoT so you can't really scale them simultaneously. So the "middle ground" is using Chaos Bolts to apply damned.
Chaos Bolts definitely won't stay long term, but for now at level 30 I'd like to keep it to spread debuffs and bone curse.
Thank you for your time.
I think the loot filter from maxdps is broken, I am seeing 2h clubs and other things while using it
Most of the maxroll filters will show all exalted items and items with valuable affixes, despite it not being the sort of item you are looking for. If you go to the filter and read, you'll see what the different colors mean. For example, red for high value affix, gold for shattering etc.
can i remove specialization later?
no
@@Markus-vk7wq NO?
After 100 hours, i finally understood what i dont like about last epoch...
I dont get that sense of "overwhelming power" like in POE .... even after minmaxing the falconer... i just dont feel it...
That's a fair criticism, outside of bugged builds you never get that because the difficulty scales with you as you progress. Dynamic boss DR also hurts the fantasy of overpowering the game.
@Tenkiei i dont like that... i dont get the feeling of me getting stronger... makes me get bored really fast...
@@akimezra7178 Well maybe you are not the target audience for LE, if you are a PoE enjoyer who loves the min/max and the in depht complexity you are indeed gonna be bored real quick.
On the other hand if you are like me, an Aarpg casual andy, LE is perfect because i get bored quick from D4 since the game is far too easy and the endgame is non existant but having a blast on LE.
You PoE blasters are a different kind of gamer lol.
The closest I've found is the Ballista Falconer w/Gambler's Fallacy. It feels like PoE when mapping, cuz I blow up the entire screen. It kills the experimental mages in about 3 explosions, and bosses vary depending on things like phases, movement, etc. It's definitely amazing and mono clearing though.
I'm trying the exploitive version of this Warlock right now, and while it is pretty much invincible due to the crazy 50-100k ward, the damage feels meh and mono clearing is super janky, imo.
In POE, you need a PhD to make a strong build that can take hundreds or thousands of hours
So I guess it is fine to feel like a god there
Here the game is much easier to understand and build, so it want to keep challenging the whole time.
3:23 nooo, show me the roll on the all res blessing ! 😫
Good to see ur not using the profane veil ward bug :D getting super tired of the 50k ward builds... especially the content creators using it for views with titles like "crazy amazing tier1 corruption 1000 pushing build"
kinda shocked u went bone curse instead of transplant
Is there anything good in the transplant passives ?
Never really looked and always just use it for movement lmao,
a slightly better execute, consistent bone armor and 3s haste/frenzy are the main things i think@@IAteYourSandwich
