Lagon is thought to be one of the first real walls in Last Epoch. Follow these steps to get over it easily!

NOBODY has resistances capped by the time they reach Lagon. I went out of my way just to get 3 resists capped by this point.
The ones you need most would be lightning and could, he does some physical, but if you manage to get lightning and cold you're ok. As long as you avoid one shots.
I had all resistances capped first time facing lagon...

If you stand on the far left corner, on the stairs, half behind the wall, none of his attacks can hit you. Easy way to cheese this fight.

@@GoblinGaming13small correction though, his moon attack (white circle on ground) can hit you, but is easy to dodge

You can go even further and use 'stride to safety' in 'runic invocation' in that same corner and you'll break out of the phase 1 and 3 arena.
I tried this boss at level 53, I laughed when you said you're under levelled at 81, now I feel no shame in levelling up a bit and trying again.
I'm in the exact same boat. I thought I was doing something wrong but I guess not haha.
Ah, mine was at monolith of fate, endgame thing, bad news is you'll have to fight him twice in monolith, but once you have the strategy down he's not so bad.
No, most people in campaign do level up to around 60 when they take him on first, my fight with him was at the endgame activity :)
I had 55 on both cold and lightning resistance and only died a couple of times before killing him...my bugaboo was my storm crows kept dying and you can't just stand there to res them...I found that eventually they disappear completely and you can call them again
As veteran PoE player i had all res to max. My single target sentinel skill is smite heal. So I could basicly ignore every mechanic in P1 & P3 and stand still holding 1 key down. (First play through with no fancy items)
I did it with 3 capped and it wasn't too bad, as long as I was changing directions, he couldn't hit me. He's just a bit tedious that's all.
If my mage taught me anything is that I have to be constantly moving anyway due to the lack of armor mages have.... Though there are passives to raise those and I should probably invest some points into it instead of focusing it all on damage.
As a mage, ward is your best friend, Runemasters before the patch were really good at maintaining it almost all the time. Still doable but harder now, flame ward helps a lot, I also still have gain flame ward if I run through flame wall.
Impossible for my MM i fucked that character so much i get one shot by the waves, i need to play perfect phase 1 and 2 but 3 is impossible with my shitty build.
Try to respec, or if you can craft some gear for either resistances or health. Resistances you'd need are Lightning, Cold and Physical (not over 75%) and maybe also some Idols to help out for the moment.
I respec all my passiv tree went full dodge, and manage to beat it. I didn't get waves on phase 3 like in the video maybe they change it. Anyway great video keep, hope to see more from you.
@@gzaos When did you finish it? They did change Lagon a bit from before, what I'd recommend if you have problems is maybe get some levels too to make your character stronger (I don't know what level you are). He's pretty easy once you get the hang of it!
I beat lagon today. The problem was how I build my character full Crit glass canon.It's entirely my fault after respec it was easy. Lessons is don't play rogue MM for your first playthrough.

I think with the waves they either always go clockwise or counter clockwise. It's fairly predictable. Seems most people have trouble with this part.
I dont think Diablo 4 can compete because its not a good game. I tried the Beta test and just wasnt interested because i had played last epoch since 2019 and knew right away that it was the proper spiritual successor to Diablo 2
Can't because they keep making the wrong decisions and are focused more on short term profit than actual game. Shame, Blizzard used to be great along with Bioware. The only thing LE needs to fix is the servers, launch has been pretty poor.
@@GoblinGaming13 My long term theory is that Blizzard was deliberately demolished within by Activision so that Microsoft could come in and spruce the place up in their own image, its called Solve Et Coagula. Essentially the illuminati realized the potential of Blizzard for social engineering/brainwashing purposes and they always intended for Microsoft to take over for when they make WoW 2 as a premier virtual reality game. People will welcome the Microsoft overlords with great gusto after being fucked by Activision so badly they will be desperate for anything. You look at Bobby K and he has Illuminati connections. They arent stupid and its not purely about money, its about real evil doing evil things. ie people will walk themselves into the Matrix without any hesitation.
The boss fights are so bad. The campaign was very lacking.
I liked some of them, but I can see why people would dislike Lagoon and some others. I'm sure they'll add and improve bosses overtime.
