I pick up my interceptor next week! I found this series and your channel through 61four Motos video with your bike. I instantly knew that’s exactly what I pictured making mine into. It’s extremely tasteful and just fits. I also just binged your series straight through, so any update on your bike would make me more hype than volume 2 of stranger things next week.
What would be the next narrower size up front what you have mounted? I want a wider front tire but not quite that wide. Thanks for taking the time to post the video!
How does your bike ride in the rain? I am currently building my 23’ and foul weather does not deter me from riding but my concern is rain, especially rain on painted markers on the road ways. Beautiful build you have and I firmly believe those of us who are building or INT650’s into Scramblers look more genuine and authentic to the 60’s & 70’s than the ones that Royal Enfield plan on releasing next year which look more like a Enduro. I subscribed and look forward to more great videos in the near future! Thank you for the tire information. And to all, please stay safe and healthy, keep the rubber side down and may the wind always be at your back!
Hey, I know this video is a couple years old now but I was curious what tail tidy you used? I've been looking all over for different tail tidy kits and the ones from Baak, Bonvent, and Sold out are pretty expensive and I really like the more oval shape of the tail light and more substantial turn signals on your bike. It looks a lot more stylized and minimalistic while still looking substantial. Thanks for you response, and awesome looking bike! I'm turning my Interceptor into a scrambler and modeling it after yours mostly.
I’ve been following your build and I’m using some of your ideas. As far as tires, I like the Shinko 700s you picked but for me the height is a bit too much. I’m at my limit as far as seat height (I’m 75). The Scorpion Rally STR comes in the size I want, 120/70-18 front and 150/70-18 rear but they are $400 for the set and I’m not crazy about the tread pattern. Have any ideas for knobby tires for my bike?
So to fit a 21” /130 front tire new forks are needed, thus it makes sense fit inverted forks. To fit an 18” x 180 a new billet swing are would be required as well as 15” shocks? Yes?
The larger tire size is very interesting. My calculations show the larger tires being about 4.6% larger in circumference. Apparently, the performance mods offset the larger tires in terms power sensation / acceleration. Reference your comments on turn-in being like going off a shelf versus being gradual do you think that is due to the taller size or much more aggressive tread and once set into a corner would it hold the line as well as before the upsizing? Would you say the braking was not significantly impacted? Presumably, the speedometer was off by 4.6% but would you say you focused on staying with traffic and not focused on the clock?
do you realize, no offense, i promise, that if a pebble gets stuck between fender and rubber you make a big fly? if i were u i'd try a simpler and less audacious solution. again, no offense.
I hope you're well and business is good. I would enjoy part 5 though.

Soon!
Great overview - thanks. I'm looking at options for knobbies but a bit concerned about road handling, so this sounds like good news. Subscribed!
Looks so awesome!!!

I'm going with 5.10 rear and 4.10 front Shinko 244
@@alan_2056how did it go?
@@relevation0 I haven't worn out my stock tires yet so haven't mounted them yet. I need to ride more.
So far, so good.
Get front fender risers too ;)

These tyres tends to "escape" when you turn a square or in a big highway curve where you need a " big slope" ? Nice video. Congrats!

I think it’s Tek bike parts.
@@throttlecompany Thanks for the reply, I'll check them out!
Looking good!
Thanks!

What size front and rear tires do you think we should buy?

i'm curious can i just take off the fenders i don't like there look and if i do would it look good without them?

where can I find these tyres?
Qual seria o peneu companheiro?
Looks cool, however, if you get any mud on that front tire, your fender is going to rub.
Good point.
This tyres are available amazon or if available link place?
How much has your range changed since doing these mods? I'm looking to do a similar type of build on mine
75 MPG
really interested in what you done but had to turn it off the jump edits as so annoying , freaked me out , the tyres look fab - good job
What the cost for that exact same build?
Are doing anything to shocks?
Yes!
Which tyer is that
Is it available in india?
Hmmm...needed this 😅
Did you change rims size?
No, stock sizes (18”)
@@throttlecompanyThat was my question also, so basically stock rims?
Literally stock.
I've been looking at a few scrambler builds, a few use a 19" front and a few just bolt on the entire Himalayan front end.
do you realize, no offense, i promise, that if a pebble gets stuck between fender and rubber you make a big fly?

again, no offense.
I thought that gap was close too.
Just needs taller spacer, no big deal.
