The Bear looks flipping nice. All the colors the bike is available in look good. You think installing the rear rack for the top box would be possible? Maybe the Bear's rear lights would get in the way. I'd use my Bear 650 to travel, lol.
Do they put that dash on the GT’s or INT’s?
Serious....why would anyone want to buy an Enfield? Poor quality...very few dealers...Jap bikes are wayyyy better...just want to be different?
Good video, but a 270 degree crank doesn’t sound like an old British bike…..they had 360 degree cranks…..I have two of them……gonna sell them and buy a Bear btw……haha
Despite having different degrees of crank rotation, it’s still the closest sound to an old British bike. We have a 63 and 68 Interceptor.
I am indian. The bike is good but the suspension to stiff for our roads.
For the type of dirt / gravel riding I do, I'm thinking this might be a replacement for my Himalayan. Would like to hear more about your experience on gravel with this bike.
I thought it would've taken longer for these bikes to arrive in the US, having just been announced. Cool to see some models here so soon. Only thing I'll say is I really wish they would've kept the dual analog gauges on this bike, I don't think the modern lcd screen goes well with a more modern classic looking bike
This was the first model technically launched in the US before anywhere else.
Really want one of those!
What is an out tje door price for classic 350 signals?
Look, a bear on a bear. Looking handsome Dylan.
Great bike, just bought it few days ago. can't believe i did it. Very nice and complete informative video. Keep it up!! From Broward, FL
Enjoy it
That 450 is hurting my feelings. I love it.
would be better to view them out of the crates.
I disagree.
@@throttlecompany it doesn't look good showing them with the forks compressed, no windscreens installed etc..best to do a proper walk around when they are built up.
I considered that fact long ago and disagree. There are plenty of opportunities to see the bikes out of the crates (for example: our “In The Loop” series) but the excitement of unboxing only happens once, and it’s our intention to capture that moment on “First Look”. People are aware they can just search for images of the bike, we are giving them a chance to share our first impression. Thank you for your advice, I am choosing to do the opposite.
The Special Edition is still too quiet. Too restricted.
Hi Dylan, I am planning to get Bullet 350 in Texas area! I am not planning to ride on the highway! Do I need any safety accessories like jacket, shoes etc. of course I am getting helmet. Where can I drive this motorcycle like loop, street wtc
Hey that's the bike I demo'ed!
There is no right or wrong when it comes to looks. Tastes tend do differ. I love the looks though.
Except in this case.
This is the kinda bike imma gonna chose in an apocalypse world to get me outta city
An AUSSIE here, a few months ago two of us rode 4600 km’s in Remote Western Australia, one of the bikes was the 450 Himi, stock except for tyres and larger screen. In this part of the World you are remote, self sufficient ie fuel, water have to be carried ( fuel carried should at least be 400 kms worth plus full main tank ) you are on your own. We rode the GUN BARREL HIGHWAY ( suggest researching this rd ) it’s notorious for destroying suspension, damaging 4x4’s and off road campers. The RE took all this in its stride, sure we didn’t race the bike or flog the guts out of them ( these bikes need to get you home again ) the RE suspension showed its limits ( any OME on most bikes will ) the short side stand is a pain. Other than that, this bike never broke down, nothing feel off other than the stupid OME mirrors loosening. This bike i believe is a good all rounder, not perfect but will take you any where you wish, from long black top rides to remote rides. Treat the bike with respect and you will be pleasantly surprised of its capabilities.
thank you
Has anyone eaten any of that Himalayan stew yet... found him a layin in the road
Learning to be comfortable and safe on a cruiser is nothing but defeating your common sense on self preservation. It isn't safe to have feet forward and a beginner immediately recognizes the fact.
That’s an interesting hypothesis I’m not sure I agree with.
If they went & handled as good as they looked Moto Guzzi would be on a all time best seller. I took the 850 special for a test ride I asked the salesman if I could take it for a 50 kilometer ride he said no problem take as long as you like, 15 minutes into the ride I turned around and took it back. Even at age of 64 this bike was way to pedestrian as (in dull) for me.
My guess is that something was wrong with that bike. Dealers who don’t maintain their demos could have low tire pressure which would really affect handling. I am constantly impressed by the V7s handling, so I recommend a second opinion.
I installed some Kenda Big Bock 50/50 tires, and they completely transformed the bike. It feels really good on the highway, and off-road, it is amazing now.
i applaud you for having demos at your dealership. I hate my area because no dealerships have demos.
Thanks, it’s a lot of money, work, and risk, but we think it’s important. Who would buy a bike without test riding it first?
I too love my 2023 v85 2400 mi in 2 months may just be one of my favorite top 3 motorcycles had over 100 bikes can’t believe sat on showroom floor for a year a must demo try
What kind of camera/audio are you using? It works very well!
I love my 2023 V85TT! Very comfortable to ride.
I had that motorcycle when I was a young man. It was so smooth and powerful. I wish I still had it.
This thing looks like a modernized KLR
Wait, so the bear hasn't reached there yet?
Alpha Cars, a Royal Enfield dealership in Massachusetts. has the Bear in stock. So I would guess Throttle Company either has the Bear in stock or will be getting them very soon.
I think you guys aren’t watching closely enough.
@@throttlecompany Yeah, I think I've Bearly Scratched the surface!
I have one and it’s awesome! It’s my 1st bike and I’m very happy with it so far. Very versatile and easy to ride. Can’t wait for better weather next year. Nice video!
Love this full circle video!! I first came across your channel because of the In The Loop episode with the 411! Congrats on the growth
Thanks for watching!
Great video for the new Himi. I have the 411 and your shop is the only place locally that consistently has the parts I need. Awesome place with even better people. Also, it was cool that you rode this to the Devil's Staircase to show it off. Keep it up.
Hey I have a 76 CB550K! Awesome video. Wanted to ask your thoughts on what tires you would use? Currently have Duro on front and rear, but both need replaced. The bike is in near stick shape with very little customization. Thanks!
& then the Guerilla 450 was born . . .
The v85tt is an awesome machine. I'm tempted to buy another one. Great owning experience.
Nicely done Dylan!
This makes me happy! I’m still loving my V7😊. It’s the perfect blend of style and sport. This is the motorcycle equivalent of a nice ravioli! One thing you don’t mention is the range. That sexy tank holds a lot!
The Travel model also comes with a heated seat (which everyone seems to forget to mention). Also these are not 2025 models. I bought mine in May this year (2024).
You are correct about the heated seat, you are however, wrong about the year. These are 2025 models the OEM determines the model year of the motorcycles not the date released. At least this is true in the US.
people are sleeping on the Guzzi V85TT platform. Its way more affordable and just as capable as any GS... If you like the Air Cooled GS's this is the one. Cool part about it it's old school character filled and still has all the tech. The customizable ride modes, I've had mine in Colorado for 2yrs and just over 7k miles. It's legit capable offroad and on with style. I bought a 2022 adventure version and swap out for the travel's bag set up and then made a soft bag set up for that mounting system its slick and works perfect. Installed a little Mistral magic and it rips. This years mods will be getting a 21" front wheel set up and seeing how that works. Stone reliable.
@ToriADVMoto I would like to see how you set up your soft bags. I’ve got the Urban bags and would like to mount my Drybags when I go off-road. You haven’t happened to do a video on it?
@lescook9521 I do .. I have like a whole album. I could send you the link. Send me your email address
@lescook9521 send me ur email address I will send you a Google album link
Where do you sell that 3d printed anti buffering piece?
Open the gates and let the sound of power flow forth.
Enjoyed your video and digging the building there in Columbus! I've been riding my 21 Himalayan for about 8000 miles but seriously thinking about the Guzzi V85TT. Love that thing.
Look interesting for sure.
Hello! Little fun fact.... The V85TT is not anymore made in Mandello del Lario at the Guzzi factory. It's made by Aprilia in Noale. The reason..?? Moto Guzzi is a very small company, 300 employees work there. The factory have not enough capacity for the new Stelvio and the V85TT. Moto Guzzis sales are growing. Amazing come back in the last few years. I make 21.000 km in 1 year on my 2023 V85TT without any issues, it's just running and gives me so much fun i never have before with any other bikes in my life...👍🏻👍🏻😁😁 Greetings from Bavaria 😉😉
Has the wind noise/buffeting problem been solved?
Yes I have a 2025 travel with 2000 miles
Didn't have any complaints on my test ride with the TT and its smaller windscreen either. Might be different for taller people (I'm only 178cm), but then you could always get the windshield from the Travel or an aftermarket one.
I have had my 2022 V85TT accessorized to a Travel for one year now. I love it! It is my go to ride of my 6 motorcycles. I came off 30 years of Honda GoldWings. And yes I bought mine from Throttle Company in Columbus although I live in middle Tennessee. I’ve got 5000 + miles on mine now. I added the travel windscreen and have not noticed the buffeting. However, I use a Cardo comm and listen to my music from my phone while I ride. I can still hear the exhaust when I open it up. Stock exhaust has a great sound.
the cylinder peeping outside
Good to see you back in the loop Dylan. And yeah, I always used to put 10W40 car oil in my 1980 V50 Monza -- 350cc less than the V85TT (and a lot lighter to be fair) but an easy 100 mph.
I had an Imola v35 in the nineties and I would love now in my 55 years old to have one like this. Love the v motor love the looks.
Yeah, man. Ya have to own one to understand? It's a very unique vibe.
