Mirrorless Back To DSLR??

I can't help but still love a DSLR - prefer then to mirrorless - BUT - how does a Nikon D500 compare to my Nikon Z6ii and Z5 for wedidng photography?
I've got what could be a perfect set-up with a Sigma 18/55 F1.8 zoom on the D500 (effectively 28mm to 52 so the same as the primes I use on my Z bodies)
So insteqad of 2 cameras and continually swopping lenses can I just use th D500 with a F1.8 zoom?
