@@Anthony-xd1lj are you one of those ? damn you must have lived a sheltered life, family is family pack is pack go away and buy a goldfish or something.
Rotties are the best family dogs. I had one when I was a kid, and she happily dragged my little brother out of a snow drift that he couldn't get out of himself. Lovely girl.
We use to die a sled to our german shepard/rott mix and kick a ball and he'd dead sprint after it. My brother talked me into sitting backwards one time and he kicked the ball under a van. The dog got to the ball my head but my head met the the bumper.
@@articcat9254 there is no such thing as "attack dogs" there are only dogs trained to attack. German shepherds growing up, had two routines as a young adult now I have a pitbull
My wife had one when I met her. They are an impressively intelligent dog breed. Eyes are full of life and emotion. A good dog for someone who wants another part of the family, and deserves to be treated as if they were your own flesh and blood.
A long time ago we were friends with a family that had a female Rottweiler. They had a 2 y/o little girl and she would play on the floor in the living room with the dog. The first time I saw her put her hand in the dog's mouth, I kind of gasped. But the dog was totally cool with her. She lifted his lips and the dog just stopped and let her do it. Of course Mom and/or Dad was always watching. Fascinating to watch how such a powerful animal can go from being ready to "take care of business" to being gentle.
These dogs are only dangerous due to how adorable and sweet they are! I’d never get any work done, they’d guilt me into giving them attention easily. No one’s messing with that baby with 3 Rotties around, let alone 1.🥰
mine would lay on the lounger beside me, i would read out loud too him till he snored. Also gave him his own kitten(manx)he also learned too protect him,(& he stopped chasing cats)(he was also not too good at that.) Lottsa Crazy stories bout him. LoL with love.
This is what guardian breeds do. No one should be surprised by this. They know the baby is vulnerable. This should silence all the uneducated trolls out there. This is what I like to see... the dogs around the baby. You're very close to 100K subscribers!
Best dogs EVER! My mom showed and bred rotts. They were the best friends I ever had and I miss them everyday. Had one protect me in the woods when I got away from my parents when I was 6. He literally would not let me go any further until my mom found me. They were my sled dogs when we had snow and my team mate when we played ball. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are the most loyal friends you could ask for but bc ppl are trash they get bad names.
Hello Collin, I totally agree...Junior is very great with Cozy. And the other Rotties are wonderful with her as well. Your dogs temperaments are just amazing.
I knew that June would be her boy! there was always something about the way he acted around her and watched her. That is her buddy and she will love the other pups as well but there will always be a special relationship with Cozy and June!!
Yep. You can see this behavior everywhere in the wild like mother elephants and Giraffe's standing over their young to try and protect them. He knows the other dogs won't hurt the baby but he's also aware that she is very fragile. Smart and loyal animal.
I've been raising roots for the last 30 years, and i had also other breeds but no other can be compared with roots! They are smart, dedicated and beyond they are relentless guards!
Wow- they are so calm and well behaved around baby cozy- baby cozy just loves having them around in one room- she is so happy 😊-in all she is most adorable brave and cute baby. Beautiful family- love watching your videos
I'm well aware rottweilers get an undeserved reputation for being vicious, but these dogs are clearly very loving and gentle with your little one, as if they're thinking, "We must protect this tiny hooman!" I get the feeling, though, that they would look at any potential intruder with an expression that says, "Yeah, it might be wise to turn around and leave."
They bold the youngest.. junior really loves his babysitter... BTW... they all are good whit her but June is the big baby of the 4 rotties I think.. I love them all. Kenai, Kieta,Fluffy and beautiful June 😍
My kids grew up with rotts their entire childhood. The best dog for protection and for being a friend. I love the breed. The best breed for kid protection, loyalty, and friendship.
The baby has been imprinted on as a member of their pack I have 4 Rottweilers and once accepted into the pack you will always have unconditional love and protection. Dogs know what babies are instinctively. Well mostly I guess. I took my oldest (Lola) to breed while in season and took her to the stud’s house. They sent me video of their grandchildren playing on my Rottweiler like a play-set. Lola is gentle and loves children and when I bring stray dogs home. They love it.
Our rottie was a sweet heart but very protective. Only complaint we ever had was her shedding 😂 you’d never guess a short haired dog could drop so much hair!
my son had a PitBull sitter as a Baby. The Rottie came in later, but a really good play buddy & protector. Nobody came near. The hydro guy wouldn't get out of his vehicle as Blade had deeked him out a few times. he would drive close enough too the meter too read. Still miss him, have very fond memories.
my friend had a pit like this or well an american bully like this. super focused always working in the sense of looking for possible threats. constantly in go mode yet gentle as a kitten with the kids
Your dogs are the most beautiful family and you have done such an amazing job at training that you never raise your voice I just think your family has such a blessing to have them in there and how good they are to the baby
OMG OMG they are all so cute with Cozy but yeah Collin I agree Junior and Cozy are the match made in Heaven they will definitely grow up together!!! 🥰🥰🥰
That is so adorable how June stands over her like that. I had a Rotty growing up that was never more than 3 feet away from me also. I miss you Wrangler! 👍
Respekt !
Hi guys, it's seems to me that the "fabulous four" are SO KIND with Cozy... But June is the best!!! And Fluffy loves Cozy's toys! Kita is a grand mama!!! And Kinai too is so sweet like always!!!
I haven't seen this channel in a bit. Years back there was a friend of friend I went to the house of that had a Rotty. Largest Rotty I've ever seen. You're so good with these Rotty's and appear to be an excellent trainer. Cozy's so precious and growing fast. I haven't seen Sam on your channel for some time as well. If you'd be kind enough let her and everyone at the Rotty ranch know thoughts and love are with you. May you have a Fantastic Holiday Season!
I agree, my Rotty was wonderful with really young children. I do feel it's how you bring up your dog. Having young children in the extended family, I ensured my Rotty was introduced to children from a really young age. First I ensured she was good with other dogs by taking her to play with other puppies, extending her experience as she aged with other age appropriate dogs. Then I started including introducing her to young children. She behaved wonderfully. I also socialised her with other people, where people were shopping. We lived in a small country town at the time. The only issue .we encountered was she was prone to car sickness. I found using medication recommended for horses worked well when we relocated over 3,000 km from where we lived when we got her as a puppy. I simply gave her the correct dose of paste in bread every morning before we hit the road and not once was she sick. In fact she loved to the trip znd was a wonderful travel companion. I would recommend anyone relocating their home, too notify the company your dog is microchipped with. So if you were to run into a runaway for what ever reason, you would be notified at your new home address. Mind, my baby stuck to me like glue, during the long drive to our new home.
I am glad this child's experiences with this breed will be much better than my own were. When I was a kid, my grandparents had a next door neighbor that had 2 Rottweilers and a boxer. The boxer by himself was a sweetheart, but once the neighbor got the rottweilers all three of them became dangerous to be around since he made no real effort to train them. Fortunately my grandparents had a very well trained German shepherd, Greta, that would not tolerate any threats. I have several memories of those dogs making attempts to attack us kids or my aunt's much older and much smaller dog. Every single time Greta jumped in quickly and made all three dogs realize just how big of a mistake they had made. Eventually the neighbor got rid of the rottweilers and the boxer went back to being mostly friendly to be near.
Gotta tell you I have had to loose three dogs in my life time to old age and illness my only comfort in my loss was I gave them all the best lives possible Sadly in my life I've had more dogs I would without hesitation run into a burning building to save than people. Almost as sad is every last dog I ever owned including my current two when ever I come home get up and greet me with joy and affection regardless if I'm gone 10 minutes or 10 hours No human I my life not even my kids certainly not my wife has ever come close to that.
Easily one of the most well protected babies on the planet right there
Agreed with ya! ❤️🙏
