I’ve been raising Rottweilers for over 10 years now. I use to buy really nice dry dog food. But I noticed in some of my rotts they would throw up almost everyday. On top of that, they would poop up to 5 times a day. I decided to switch to a raw diet. My dogs are healthier, happier and no more throw ups and typically only 1 solid poop a day. Maybe 2. Eating dry dog food is like living off of MRE’s or ramen noodles. It’s horrible for dogs, but great for the vets pocket book.

Wasn’t bad but see how he got up with that anticipation to inch his way towards the food when you put it down and as your petting him which is encouraging him to inch closer. I would of made him wait without even touching him cause he seemed so anxious to really get the food. Then tell him it’s ok to get it when he patiently waits without making a attempt to inch towards it like he can’t even get up he needs to stay sitting. But overall beautiful dog and good work with everything.
EXACTLY. I was looking for a comment like this because I clearly saw the same thing The dog didn’t do a good job at all, but it WAS his birthday so maybe they were just being lenient lol
In my experience most large breed dogs with food aggression don't get enough food. My neighbor was a good example. He had Great Dane/Boxer mix and and he was a great dog until feeding time. He had a couple of other dogs who were much smaller and the Dane would aggressively chase them away from their food. I asked how much they fed him and they were feeding him barely more than the other dogs who was less then half the Danes size. Once they started feeding him more often his aggression during food time stopped. Of course other things can cause it so you need to know your dogs and understand their behavior.
Organic raw diet is the best thing you can do for your dogs...shiny healthy coats, no digestive issues, allergies, etc. Just happier dogs. Even if you buy the most expensive, high end kibble, they all go thru the same manufacturing. Raw is much safer. Happy Birthday June!
Feeding raw is just about the same as an expensive kibble. I’ve been feeding my Rottie for 4 years now. I prep 3 months at a time, but would say it’s roughly $120 a month.

We raw feed too, but things in the UK haven't gone completely mental regarding meat pricing.
