Ryan, first off thanks for taking the time to get my name out there. You have no idea how much that means. I go for my 5th and hopefully final surgery tomorrow and it looks like I might be able to stand up for the first time in 2 weeks by the end of the day.

Great video and thank you for sharing your opening of the long waited letter. I did the SaddleSore one morning I got up too early and was not really in the mind of doing it, but, got on the Wing and off for a 1600km ride. I took pictures of first and last gas station receipth but forgot my turn around point receipt and no way to prove where and when I was there. A week later, I did my 2000km SaddleSore ride and lost my camera on the way back and had no proof of when my ride started. I guess I'm going to start over, but at least, I know what is comming on, but weather is getting colder.

I’m thinking about doing this ride just for the hell of it. I’ve done many very long solo 750+ mile days but never documented anything. I think 1k is definitely doable.
Done quite a few of thier rides but never for a certificate , but now that I am retired for the last time , I may start riding for certs .. So why didnt you include the sharknose 1000 ?
I totally should have done the Sharknose 1000 cert. Not sure how I missed that. Ride safe on your journeys. 🤙🏻
