Is the built in speaker audio louder than scanner? Can you hear it on slightly noisy environments like you can with Motorola two way commercial handhelds?
The speaker is quite loud and we sell very few speakers. That being said these have an AV input you can plug in almost any aftermarket external speaker.
I know this is not a scanner but are the scanning capabilities improved yet? Add/delete, hold time, temp look-out, etc. I've owned one once but only to use as a scanner/monitor so it got annoying.
The G2 and G3 look to be closer to scanner-like than the G4 and G5, but I haven't noticed a huge difference with the new firmware. They are what they are--they're meant to be fire pagers, but I think they work well as scanners

Especially if you only plan on listening to one or two talk groups but if you want to listen to a whole County it gets annoying because you'll hear something interesting then as soon as they let off the PTT it picks up on somebody else and you miss a conversation and there's nothing you can do about it lol.
You guys know why my g5 won’t turn on after the battery died? I put it back on the charger but now it won’t turn back on, and all three lights are lit up at the top.

Dealers mostly suck , thank god my best friend owns a shop and I don't need to take my Tacoma to the dealer.

Exactly, overloading the frontend with excess programming is a nightmare. That's why we start everyone off with just 10 talk groups free of charge.

It is still in the works. We currently switched over to a new website, so we are overhauling everything step by step.
Does the G5 work with fm analog frequencies?
We don't sell the G5 so we really don't have any information on it.

It's possible that you need to charge it fully before turning it back on, but it sounds like a faulty battery

Airshows are almost exclusively analog - a better option for price and user-friendliness would be the SR30C
