I called K-18 and they confirmed you can add a deep conditioner to hair after leaving it on 4 mins. It does not wash the product out.
This was my routine, but I've recently switched from Olaplex to Epres. I'm so grateful for these bond repairers because I have fine hair that's prone to breakage and splits and with these two I'm finally retaining my length. I did a full course (6 washes) of K18 and still had some fairy knots, but after cutting those out and adding a couple rounds of Epres they haven't come back.
So glad to find a natural hair UA-camr that's interested in the science of hair care, especially products with patents.
Where did you buy the epres?
Do you mind me asking, how are you using both the K18 and Epres and/or any other bond treatments in you regimen?
@@BeYoutifulBombshell Right now my hair is in kinky twists so when I wash, I'll shampoo then use k18 before I condition my hair. I use the epres spray on it about 2-3 times a week. I've used other bond repairers like Curlsmith, Olaplex, TWIST Reconstructor, and Amika. but k18 and epres are the ones I like the best. I'd like to try the Redken bond repair, but after that I don't think there's any other ones I'd like to try based on their ingredients.
When my hair is not in twists or silk pressed, I do more deep conditioning. I like mixing in some Braggs liquid aminos with a deep conditioner before washing. Sometimes when my silk press is getting old, I'll wet my hair using the epres and braid it so I can wear a bread out while it's dry.
I have some more products that I use but honestly, the products that I have bought the most have been k18, epres and Olaplex. All the other ones I could do without.

I’m also curious about the Braggs Liquid Aminos in your deep conditioner. What are the benefits and advantages of this combination?

OLIPLEX CHANGED MY LIFE! However, the spray mechanism of 00 is terrible and you waste half the bottle as it streaks down your head. K18 leave in is also a miracle product.

I would alternate. . I have not used Olaplex yet but just bought K18. Its much cheaper if you buy and subscribe on their website. I will alternate K18 and the Redken Acidic Bond treatment. I also use the Epres and love it. I may try Olaplex later. I also bought a water filter. Follow AbbyYungs channel also

I heard if you REALLY emulsify the k18 until it's white and foaming on your hands then you only have to use a little bit.
Olaplex has been wonderful for my highlights. I'm testing adding the redken acidic bonding concentrate currently. I did blowout my hair after, and it felt smooth. I haven't tried it and let it dry curly yet.

Thanks for this. I am planning on using olaplex (mainly 2) and living proof this way. I have been using olaplex 2 regularly, my hair loves it. Actually 2 is more potent than 3, more ctives. They are not the same. I have used 2 for almost 3yrs.
