Thanks again, Adam! Before watching this video, I had a few of these options switched to the "ON" position. Now, with your help here, I am using all the features you have demonstrated in his video. The biggest being activating, Cloudflare. I had no idea what Cloudflare was all about until now. Many thanks!
This video helped me make the switch from InMotion to SG. IMH was good, but SG makes life so much easier. I used your link above to set-up my account and wondering how to get access to your course bundle. Thanks a million for looking after us novices.

Thank you so very much! I did everything you said and the results are astounding! I just did the gMetrix test and everything was green and tested above average; at 92 "Leverage browser caching" was the lowest but apparently the average for that is only 64%! The speed is just 1.9 seconds - down from just over 4. I needed help with Cloudflare and SiteGround as usual sorted it on chat in minutes. To anyone reading this, if you haven't subscribed to this channel, you should - Adam is honest and he really does the most useful WP videos.
Hi, i would be interested to know which pages are recommended to exclude from chaching when running a shop? should be all product pages? or only the shop page?
Hello, how do i link pricing comparison plugin to woo-commerce checkout without a product ID ? it means a customer can choose the price shown on the price comparison page and checkout on woocommerce as “Purchase Order” without any product created on woocommerce, because I have several pricing plan created on the plugins that will be shared to the customer and will be paid as cash later on.
I just changed to SiteGround with their Black Friday discount. So much better than inmotion hosting. The support at SiteGround is insane and their cpanel alternative is so awesome
Adam, I use SG Optimizer on my main domain, but, NOT my subdomain (I separated out my LifterLMS courseware from my main site for speed reasons) where I host my LifterLMS courses. Do you think I could use SG Optimizer on my subdomain where LifterLMS courses are? It's using the WP Super Cache plugin. I've been afraid and VERY careful with caching plugins with my courseware subdomain. What I have now does work as two years ago a developer set it up for me and I haven't wanted to touch it. But, some of my LifterLMS students still get these weird mystery login issues, but, thankfully, not often. I just tell them to clear browsing history, switch browser or try logging in on a different device. It's still annoying though. Should I make the switch?
SG Optimizer can't generate Critical CSS. This is crucial to improve FCP (First Contentful Paint), which is also a ranking factor in Google and now it's shown in Search Console. I would suggest using WP Rocket or Swift Performance instead
@@Prakeet1995 Thank you for your response. What about WP-Optimize? Do I need that anymore? I also seem to have a plugin called Really Simple SSL for some reason. Do I need it if I enable SSL through SiteGround? Any help greatly appreciated!
Hey thanks for this Adam! I'm thinking about moving to siteground for a while now, so this was encouraging. Are you planning to do a quick video on their new backend? Have you ever tried their reseller plan? Thanks again
Great video, as per usual, Adam. Two points in response: 1. I'm an SG customer at the Basic level, and I use the Cloudflare CDN through my cPanel. This access is also set to Cloudflare's Basic account level, so the Grow Big and Go Geek SG accounts don't seem to bring anything extra to the party in that sense. (I could be wrong, though.) The SG Optimizer widget that I see in my WP Admin panel looks just like the one you showed for the two more expensive SG account types. Inside the widget, the only differences that I can tell (and they're BIG differences) is that SG Optimization for Basic customers does not include Dynamic Cache and Memcache services. 2. Just wondering how Lazy Loading in the SG Optimizer might enhance or conflict with Jetpack's Lazy Loading. Would be interested to read your thoughts on that.

Hi Adam! I am thinking of moving to SG as well, I will use your link. I have a couple of questions, though. Currently, I am on 10web, is it worth the move? I also have Gumlet app and wondering if it is okay to use it with CND Thanks a lot :)
Gumlet is good for a CDN for your images. I am not that fond of 10web, that why I didn't make a video on it last year. They do some shady things that I don't like. Hope that helps.
Thank you. I used site ground for hosting. But it does now show the SG Optimizer under the menu? It said "Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error." Would you please let me know how I can fix it?
Siteground has some great features, including Cloudflare, but they don't mention (and neither do you) that they only work when the domain is hosted by them, or the domain's nameservers are directed at them. Often, my clients have domain hosting already set up and won't want me hacking around their nameservers. There are workarounds with DNS settings but I haven't succeeded in making it work yet. Very frustrating because otherwise, Siteground is very good.

Hello Saeed! I'm about to start a blog based amazon affiliate website. So, will SG Optimizer caching will be enough or do you have anything better to recommend?
Page speed is a ranking factor on Google and websites lose 20% of converion rate for each second of loading. That's why Amazon invests a lot in their servers. Webmasters usually for web-developers, however, such tools save time and money without manual job.
Ok so please clarify that some. How is Google taking away 20% of anything per second? Ranking Factor yes but not significant. When you are talking about lower conversions, that has nothing to do with ranking and everything to do with user experience.
@@WPCrafter Google just learns UX. If visitors quit then ranking decreases. Nobody knows the decreasing ration. It depends. 20% of losing conversions for each second loading is from the Amazon study.
Siteground is nothing but a piece of awesome marketing. Its performance is just above average. But poor at the that price tag. Other options available are way too fast, amazing and comes with great uptime.
Have to strongly disagree with you there. You always get what you pay for with hosting. So if you go cheap, there is a reason its cheap. You will sacrifice speed or support or uptime, but you will 100% be sacrificing something.
