    I like some of your videos but I will have to say that the shark IQ is amazing for my apartment. It is ofcourse single floor and I have about half/half of carpet and hardwood floor.
    I've had it for 7 days so far It has NEVER gotten stuck, and cleans up every day. 7th day (7th cleaning) is when I got the apartment mapped out.
    The navigation has also surprised me for how good it is, haven't seen it miss almost any areas for me.

    I’ve always owned Roomba’s , as a matter fact I’ve owned about five of them. My most recent one was the S9+ that I paid $1200 for. I also picked up a $225 DeeBot 930 off of eBay recently. My $225 DeeBot 930 could run circles around my $1200 Roomba S9+ that constantly gets stuck and goes in no vacuum zones. I even tried resetting it and updating the firmware and it still a piece of crap. Do yourself and buy a $225 deep bought off of eBay. It never gets stuck and picks up Dog and cat hair just as good as the Roomba. By the way I recently purchased the shark IQ and I absolutely love it because it never gets stuck. It also does a great job picking up hair off the carpet

    It took me a three tries to get the Shark to make a map large enough to go "everywhere" (success came after i had watched another video of yours). One thing i recommend (if you don't invest getting the self empty option) is weekly dumping the bin. Maybe its because my Dad's house is really dirty but after a couple of daily runs, the bins were nearly full.

    I have a Bob sweep. The chairs and other obstacles like those are not a issue. When I come in after a cleaning, anything left down, may/will be moved. I went to grab a pair of shoes to wear, one was there the other was gone. Nowhere in my bedroom, this is crazy. That night I found it in the bathroom behind the door.

      They have their good days and bad days. I have vacuum proofed my house pretty well, but not perfect. Bob is under my bed and I start him when I want. The mapping option would be nice, especially with the resume feature. I just run several times and don’t give them too much sqft to be responsible for. I also have a Deik for the other side of the house.

    I ordered one because we have old carpet upstairs and the IQ would hate that, even though its never been upstairs yet. We have it's home charger/emptying base in a room that I house my Kirby vacuum collection in. It freaks out visitors when they visit and look at my Kirby collection and they see the IQ just come to life to clean the "Kirby Room" floor LOL.

    Got a map in about 7 runs. But I got a firmware update from support right away. Have a 2000 square foot level.
    Was buggy when I first got it. In second day I called shark support and told them it was pretty buggy. They pushed an update firmware to me. 3.4.11. It did get a lot smarter after that. Does the whole place in 1 charge. I kinda like it. The best thing is how it handles long hair. Amazing.

      Tim Jordan Geeze, how dumb was it before this update? Lol. My new shark R100 has the 3.4.11. It’s awful. Can’t get a map. I hope you will answer me, is it normal To feel very little exhausted coming out of the shark IQ while it's running? My neato used to have strong exhaust and the shark IQ is much less but it seems to work well anyway. Is this normal?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Рік тому

      Usually that means it has less CFM than another brand. CFM plays a small factor in how well w robot can clean. Navigation aka speed the robot travels, style of brush bar, floor type the robot is cleaning, how low the robot sits to the ground and PA. The Roomba for example is like the Shark low exhaust feel but I find they clean as well as a robot where I can feel alot air flow like on the Samsung Bot.

    What’s the difference between self cleaning and multi surface brush ?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  3 роки тому

      So a multi surface brush can technically have a self cleaning mechanism to help remove or reduce long hair that gets wrapped around the extractor bar. For the Shark, it a multi surface brush that works on smooth and carpeted flooring. There a brush like comb near the extractor bar that will help remove the hair. Other models may use a cutting device that embedded in the extractor bar.

    I’m new to the Robot cleaners and trying to decide which one I want to purchase...my first question is do I have to have wi-fi in my house in order for this and others to work? I live in a rural area and use my hotspot on my cell phone as my WiFi when I’m home but would like to run the vacuum during the day when I’m at work.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 роки тому

      No you can use the robot with out WiFi, just won’t able to use the smart mapping features like tell the robot to clean a certain area, scheduling and get software updates. The robot can clean the entire floor plan with out WiFi. The Proscenic M7 Po has a dedicated handheld remote, and can do most of the functions without WiFi

    Why the "SHARK IQ DON'T BUY!!!" title. After watching your video, it hardly seems you're not recommending it. And my experience is that it's not fast or smart, but the self emptying bin is fantastic and it cleans well enough. As for multiple floors, I think I'd rather have a robot per floor than carry the robot from one floor to another and not have a base (especially a clean base) on each floor. I'd love to try the Roomba S9, but not for $1400.

    Mine loses connection every time it docks. The vacuum will also sometimes just go and go and won’t go back to the dock. Shark advised me not to return it to the store because they were updating. Now it’s too late and when I called today it was basically my problem. They are blaming my internet. Funny I have no problems connecting with anything else and never lost connection with my Neato.

      I am sorry to hear, you can try turning the robot off for 30 seconds and turning it back on, sounds like you are having issues with the robot itself since your other devices connect fine. Hopefully Shark can give you a replacement. Good luck to you.

    Ninja vacuums well. No IQ but the 750.
    It has features that it does not optimize or use or show. Occasional the 750RV will go gently around chair legs, use it's built in memory, maybe cut like a sword through a water bottle with its Max mode heavy duty clean but they are so random oddly for a bumper robot

    How many square feet can the robot do in a single run?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 роки тому +1

      Can cover around 2000 sqft, it depends on what power level you are on and if it vacuuming hardwood floors or carpet. Has the ability to recharge and resume.

    I think I will it one today. For the price and seems that the updates made it better. Loved the review. Should I buy another robot that works better for the same price?

      The Roomba i7+ is the better version of the Shark IQ

      I got the IQ! It works great! First day with it and I’m happy with it. For the price you just can’t beat it. If I had the money for a roomba I would get the most expensive one! I’ll see how the IQ works after a week or so!

    The Shark IQ seems pretty horrible. Especially for the price. Once Xiaomi/Roborock comes with Self Emptying Base, it's game over. Once they create a robot that can climb stairs, it's over.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 роки тому

      Yeah I think the first robot to be able to navigate stairs it’s game changer over. The best value is the Roborock S5 Max given its price and functions

      The self empty bin is amazing. The mapping is meh at best. The brushroll not getting super tangled impressed me. Only thing I dont like is u cant change the filters when its docked because it backs up onto the dock
