What another great video guys. It's not until you look behind the scenes that you see the enormity of the huge logistical exercise. Thank you for sharing the experience with us. Look forward to the next update. Keep up the great work!
When I was much younger (in the 70's and into the 80's), we had a model train and toy collector's show which filled up 3 halls at a local center which would have been in total square footage about this size or a bit bigger. Sadly, nowadays, the same show fills up a small reception hall. Anyhow, looks like a great time to be had. Thanks for sharing.
Was taken to the rh&d railway in the summer holidays each summer as a child now (37) and take my nephew there. Their model layout at the new romney station is brilliant.
This is an excellent Idea for Model Rail content, its fresh and provides a different theme for audience Capture, beneficial to Companies and individuals. You guys were good in front if the camera big thumbs up 👍
Another year I've missed as I'm on holiday. Good to see the empty venue as it reminds me of just how much goes in to make it a proper exhibition and worth it's admittance fee.
Nice I love the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway which is in Kent the locomotives I have filmed this year will be in my Christmas Special video so keep an eye out for that as I had a ride behind Samson's sister loco no 5 Hercules there are 11 steam engines on the railway and a few diesel locos too
Can't wait, loved the pair of you behind the scenes filming One question, where are you all meeting up at dinner time I think you have mentioned it but I can't remember
@@NewJunction I know, I told him. We're only 2 or 3 (depending on service) stops away from Birmingham International too. Never been before so would have loved to. I commented this before watching and now I'm jealous. Alpha and 303 ( I believe that's what it is) are from Statfold Barn Railway, 10 minutes away from me on the outskirts of Tamworth, where I live. They often do overhaul and repair work to the 7 1/4 gauge locomotives for Echills Wood Railway (one member has a 7 1/4 Alpha) in Kingsbury ( 20 minutes away) where I volunteer. A few members from there are going such as my mate, a often visitor who brings his G Gauge locomotive, and a member who works ( not for much longer, in the process of being made redundant) for Garden Railway Specialists, or GRS. Would have loved to have seen you, the locos, dealers, snowplow and GMRC layout. George
Too big. Too busy. Too expensive = NO enjoyment for me. Sorry, and all that and yes, I AM an enthusiast BUT local exhibitions are the jewel in our Crown. (IMHO).
