Loving all the stonework, and the woodwork in that barn is a work of art. Looks like it has a lot going for it and huge potential. With only resident in the village, whoever buys it will certainly enjoy peace and quiet.
Karen was right, it's a lovely place and if we were shown this when we wobbled, we would probably have gone for it..only downside for me is access for Lilla..everything else is either in good condition, or sortable.. 😉 Cheers for the video 😊🙏
Thanks for commenting buddy- it really is lovely there...but I reckon your van might be a little too big, but I could be wrong. Not really anything structural to sort out, which makes it quite a nice renovation 🙏
@LillaHusVanlife I follow you & although you had a wobble I think both of you have done an amazing job on that property you brought. You always have a smile on your faces❤
@@fattaff1912 thank you so much.. 😊🙏we try to keep in mind where we started from as it's easy to forget when we get engrossed in jobs. We need to have a review day of our own videos I think..lol 👍 Take care and thanks again ❤
Hi Stefania, thanks for your feedback! We only cover our home region as can't travel too far but if we ever get more further afield I'm sure we'll document it, lots of love back to you x
Nice place with endless potential. It would could cost a fair bit to modernise these days, but not if you just wanted to make it "liveable". Thanks for sharing as it's always so interesting to look around properties like this. We live in Bulgaria by the way ... But over near Silistra :)
Wow, really love that property and think a fair price as it’s a good layout with not excessive amount of land. If we were in a better position I would be over for a visit.
The wood and stone are just beautiful. Post a floorplan, please! I love to fantasy renovate. If only the door to the basement kitchen was on the same side of the house as the exterior door. There might have been a way to enclose outside rather than take up interior space for stairs. Bathroom and kitchen could both be plumbed into the ground floor space. 🤔
What was behind the big red tank? eg 21:22 There is a big chimney, looks like the roof has dropped. Is there an oven in there? Also what are implications for rewiring if the electricity supply is 3 phase?
The big red tank is for water storage. Behind it is a stone built oven, but it's in a bad way- will need to be taken down and rebuilt in my opinion. There aren't many variations between single and 3 phase. A standard electrician would be able to rewire the property in either scenario. We work with a trusted Bulgarian electrician who can offer advice and complete projects for our clients
Let me double check with the seller and get back to you. A neighbouring property that is being renovated has recently dug a borehole for free water supply 👍
I can vouch for these guys, I have purchased a property from them, and they are very helpful and 100% trustworthy from my experience, including their partner Ves from Ideal homes BG. Why would they own the property? They are essentially estate agents not home builders / buyers, the same as in any other country.

The barn is incredible, it's a shame the weather wasn't on my side today....the views are amazing
Beautiful place, I can already imagine what it could become. I wish I was in a position to buy it! 😊
It really is!

Hey there, you should do a video about Montana region. Lots of love and hugs to you and the family. Hope to see you all soon.

It's really lovely there 👍
I know what I'm getting you and Ves for Christmas... a torch 🤣
🤣
You actually have a torch on your smartphone 😊
I use a separate camera unfortunately 😕
Superb views. Looks lovely. Would be interesting to see how folk would renovate this and at what cost.
The weather wasn't doing the views justice unfortunately. It's a lovely spot

And a quick question: is a soak something-or-other another name for a septic or leach field for waste water?
@@FlyingGeraldine yep soakaway or cesspit 👌

@@ourderelictdream Does it have mains water? I watched the video twice and can't spot a meter anywhere.

Nice place, lots of potential. Shame we are not in a position to take the plunge yet.
Yes, I agree, lots of potential here 👍
Wow. Where's the best place to look online for these kind of properties in Bulgaria? Seriously thinking about taking the plunge

Absolutely the dream for me
Price tag on this?
Hi Mike, it really is a lovely spot. Asking price for the property is €18,500
If we had seen this place when we had the wobble about ours I think we'd have moved. I absolutely love it 💜💜💜
Hi there, how do I find out the cost of this property please?
@@jonhartnell7887 hi Jon, it's written in the video description, 18,500 euros 👍
it looks pre-war or communism in architecture may be 1900-1930 ?
I think you're probably right there 👍
Not sure why its added my comment twice 🤷🏼♀️
Don't go near these muppets. Doesn't belong to them.
Absolutely right, doesn't belong to us 👍

@2036scott thanks for the comment, it means a lot.
Pay no attention to this troll, we've dealt with this idiot for years now 🤣
This should stop - Bulgarian land is not for sale !!!
Sorry mate, it certainly is
If Bulgarians wanted it it would have been inhabited many years ago. Would you like to see it become a pile of rubble instead?
