Yet, I fear it will all be for naught as those foundation posts begin to rot away in the soil. He will eventually have to correct that - install new foundation posts of concrete block, etc., or lose the structure, which would be a terrible shame... Such a talented and determined person - wonderful..! Wishing him all the very best..!

Have you ever heard of the Japanese technique? We scorch the end of the post it’s underground so it won’t rot. They do that on the sides of their houses so which is pretty unique they never have problems with rot. You might want to try that the next time you build something with a stick in the ground.

I think it needed 6 Weeks. A lot of work were done outer, but handcrafted there. Good designed, hope it’s lasting long.
Nice little cabin. Good food and even the pup has his own little place. Enjoy a sweet getaway.
