@PiscesIscariot_ imagine starting a new game and it just so happens the best pvper in that game just started his new character. What terrible luck lol
Chase, don't forget the Brick Hammer in Stormveil! It's the single highest str scaling weapon, and does phenomenally as bleed infusion. Also it's huge strike damage so future Crystallians will be pushovers
Messing with the wolves in highroad cave gave me flashbacks to the first playthrough where you fight red wolf of radagon for the first time after complaining about dogs and wizards lol. You're like are you even serious? A wizard dog? Lol.
Chase, would you consider keeping a low level invasion character permanently at some point? I feel like that could make for some entertaining mix ups in your uploads by occasionally doing low-level invasions. I love the low-level invasions when there aren't OLPs and everyone is just a lowbie trying to survive and it's not a bunch of particle spam and one shots.
This is a good idea, I love watching the low level PvP. You don't one shot enemies and don't get spammed by ashes the whole time. Because of chases last lvl up from PvP I made a lvl 1 no upgrades character for PvP and it has been a blast to play
that tbag backstab had my sides in orbit, god tier series, i hope the tutorialish way you edited the first one helps people get more familiar with the pvp
Key thing with poison at lower levels is that it's 6.3% + 630 for normal or 4.2% + 420 for toxic, if you have 40 Vigor that's 1450 at base health, which means poison does 721 over 90 seconds and toxic does 480 over 30 seconds compared to bleed's 15% +100 or 200 which translates to 217 or 317 damage. Poison is really strong against people without boluses which is the large majority of lower level players. For reference Bestial Vitality is 600(5 for 120), and the Tear is 1260(7 for 180) so yeah poison is pretty strong
This series is so great for everyone getting back into the game before the dlc. I never did invasions on my first play through, but I’ve been really enjoying them on my pre dlc character.
A cool feature might be during the editing stage to add over where the runes are from successful kills to put the level they were. Might be interesting to
Love the series, btw, any chance you can try some taunters tongue while doing small dungeons to spice things up? You're so good poor pve has no chance against you most of the time, so can be fun to have it more high risk.
Please level up more in this run, you were so under leveled and cautious in the last run yet still constantly surprised at how low level the players were!! 😂
For pve I really like to keep one weapon I can wield upgraded and with sacred blade, it is extremely useful against all undead enemies, it prevents skeletons from reviving, included the one that would otherwise need you to kill the necromancers with the black flame torchpoles. Aside from those, the deathbird bosses also take increased damage from the sacred blade projectile on top of being weak to holy damage. A lot of extra damage, the multiplier is very high, something like +100% more or less, and also deals extra damage against enemy weak spots like the head of deathbirds.
The easiest way to get the blood of a maiden is to wait to do Irina's quest, then just interact with her dead body with the favor after clearing Castle Morne.
I finished a str/arc playthrough recently and my favorite weapons were: Bleed infused claymore w/ sword dance Bleed infused golem's halberd w/ charge forth (annihilates anything weak to bleed) And Mohg's sacred spear (op against big groups in pve)
Adding 17 to Faith allows you to use all your blood incantations too! That would be terrifying for your hosts to find. A greatsword wielder chucking powerful blood incantations. Dragon communion seal for the arcane scaling too
If you wanted to move bloody slash onto the Shamshir, You could get Blood tax for the Claymore, its Pretty fun and I reckon you could do some nasty damage with it
I’m half way through a level through PvP playthrough with the rules of your first run and it’s taking forever to buy stuff lol. Gonna enjoy doing a run where I can buy stuff with PvE
I think you invaded me and my wife during our punch-build playthrough (or someone who is copying your exact build/look did) and that's how I found out you are doing another series like this!
31:30 oddly, it's probably the best place. Provided they were less intrusive. With WoW, the best place for UI was to put it right near where your char is because thats where your eyes are drawn to. Stuff on the periphery is much more difficult to focus on.
I'd keep some Lightning Raptor Talons with Endure in my back pocket in case things get dicey, or if I just wanna be evil. Probably one of the strongest set ups.
Scavenger(Heavy) and Beastman's/Serpent-God's(Bleed) power stance curved swords. Both will get B in STR scaling. Awesome power stance moveset and jump attack. Vulgur Militia Saw and Grave Scythe for spin to win Storm. But those are PVE farm weapons, so not sure how you look on that.
47:33 im pretty sure the host took damage from blaidd here since he was walking around when chase beat the host. So that’s THREE different hosts attacking npcs in one episode.
Yoo the great mace and brick hammer are shockingly good in strength arc as their optimal occult infusions are 45:45 in strength and arc! Its only like 10 percent less damage on pure 80 strength heavy build so its a good option for pve that cant bleed! Would also love to see a bleed beast mans curved sword as it has a special double hit for the jumping heavy! Altho im sure u might as well use dual curved swords for that. But the style chase! :)
Leave status in the middle of the screen. It's a rare event that you see that many pop up at once, but I personally would DEFINITELY overlook sleep buildup in the corner while I'm staring at the guy trying to cheese me out.
Seeing you humbled gankers with meta end game stuffs using +2 claymore is the most satisfying thing I’ve seen all day.
They're 100% running to Reddit to cry about how unfair invasions are
The thing is, it's really easy to get really strong stuff very early on in Elden Ring (cough dragon halberd cough), doesn't even need to be endgame.
It's always funny to see a muled host that thinks he's invincible because he has a endgame aow stick tho...
Chase struggling with the cave was so funny. A few elderly guys with some rocks and sticks, and a couple of puppets is what gives chase a challenge
It was like watching Gwynn struggle with fighting a retirement home
Knowing one of the best players in the game struggles here makes me feel justified in my own struggle here, hahahahahaha.
To be fair wolfcone, chase doesnt exactly pve much lol.

I like that you're using the PVE runes for everything but leveling. It makes the grind less grindy and more fun to watch. I bet more fun to play too.
I'll never get tired of this series
"I must escape! I can't escape... this is my own personal hell!" That part had me cracking up 🤣

That or the large club. The LC has the most reach of all the great hammers.
Large club? You mean Big Unga Bunga right?
Yes, I came to find this comment. Also it is a rare weapon that gets Occult B/B scaling with Str/Arc! Perfect for this build
You don't need that much strength to use LC anyway
Nothing is better than you going “I think I will parry this guy” and immediate hitting one
Closely followed by "Backstab? Backstaaaaab."
I think it’d be great to see you throw on some Taunter’s Tongue while you’re doing the PvE sections. Never seen you on defense!
Right!!! I was thinking the same thing
this is actually a good idea i personally would probably be more keen to watch the pve sections if they're was a possibility of pvp
Bro Chase stomps on multiple foes with half flasks. We don't need to see him annihilate lone invaders.
He's a red so i doubt you would ever see that.
@BreadNHoney they're not alone if chase gets invaded while fighting a bunch of mobs or something like a field boss 😊
