I think if you have played Souls games for just a bit longer (even if not PvPing much) and are not a brand new fresh ER newbie, then when being invaded by Chase it would be pretty easy to QUICKLY realize who you're dealing with just by observing the movement, spacing, dodges, weapon switches and use/timing of Skills, especially when you succedd to hit him a couple times and see that he takes damage normally XD Like... this is a skill level you see very rarely, even among the old Dark Souls pvp players. patches is such a great little personality test of wether or not you treat NPCs in games vaguely like real people or just mash attack on anyone who attacks you regardless of what they say or what the context of the encounter is. Dark souls has trained me to never attack anyone who hasn't attacked me yet, unless I know for sure they're just a regular enemy. It's not that it's a safeguard, it's just that they can't really set an infinite value as their HP on PS, nor they can bypass it in any way, so after a few bleed procs (which deal percentage damage of their total HPs) their health will go back to usual numbers and will become killable. Just chill vibes and skill checking every mofo playing elden ring. Shit, i might've come across him at some point playing and gotten my ass handed to me by him.
On two separate occasions I’ve encountered cheating on PS5 in the past week alone. Both were invaders. One was invincible like what we saw here, the other was invisible & one-shot me instantly. I could only tell a person was there from the particles off their weapon lol.
Chase, I would love if you made a video guide on inventory management. I wanna do an Erza Scarlet build and obviously hard swapping is pretty essential there. I’m sure the rest of the community would appreciate it as well.
When Chase was looking for the iron cleaver it seemed like he was waiting for the actual orb to appear. I don't know if he doesn't know this but as a general tip for everyone; If a killed creature is dropping an item they explode into a small cloud of white whisps right upon the killing blow. This is best seen at 39:00 when the dog is killed.
I love your vids. Also sword dance ash of war is in Liurnia of the lakes. Just a little recommendation. Oh, and the fact that you beat a cheater.... AMAZING!! Keep it up brother!
Your timing and spatial awareness is so deadly if I was in a 3v1 vs a player like you I would tell my teammates to adopt a strategy of whoever is targeted keep retreating while the other 2 flank/range you while keeping a triangular shape.
Probably a tough ask at low level but you can kill the cheater. Bleed him about 5 or 6 times since the damage on proc is percentage based. Gotta make sure they’re dumb enough to not roll through the procs though
I noticed when you were looking for the iron cleaver that you don't know you call tell if one is dropping something by this blue(?) flash they kind of give off. If there isn't one, no drop.
I love his videos and how good chase is. He makes it look so fun, but I hate it because I will try and just get face rolled the whole time. Always just a miserable time whenever I try invasions.
Seeing and playing low level pvp makes me wish from would slash all damage by 2/3 for rl 125+ so that way we could get decent battles. But there’s just so much damage at those lvls and above that 99% of fights are done in seconds.
19:00 u can parry almost all of the attacks u just have to time it right with the normal parry since its has less frames than carian and golde retaliation. love ur videos bro

48:41 was some peak MMA sh*t god damn I laughed sooo hard man. Straight out of a Kung-Fu Movie ggs Brother HAHAHAHAHA
seeing you do the heal talisman swap muscle memory when you don't have the heal talisman yet is funny 🤣
I wonder if inflicting curse on a cheater would work since it doesnt care about hp.
A reason to have an eclipse shotel huh? You’re onto something.
Imagine it threw them into an infinite loop because they removed the rune of death.
I am a big fan of the Nox Flowing Hammer for like no reason, Whenever you can defeat Radahn please use it.
-Nox Flowing Hammer Enjoyer
this is my favourite elden ring series thank you chase bro
Grave Scythe Poison or Bleed infused would be pretty cool for this build
I love watching Chase play. He's low key skilled af and isn't mean to anyone unless they particularly deserve it, and is low key just having fun and not being a try hard. Just chill vibes and skill checking every mofo playing elden ring. Shit, i might've come across him at some point playing and gotten my ass handed to me by him.
I’m so glad we’re doing this run again absolutely love it
I had no idea you could get that second gesture from Patches! Thanks for learning me some knowledge.
I like packing fias mist for cheaters and afkers, but chase is always giving this old wizard more ways to teach young tarnished lessons
Since you haven't activated Rahdans festival, you could pick up the whetstone in the castle for flame art.
Respect for the guy with the katana and double slash, getting parried and still going for it, over and over and over.
The “booty” back stab attempts gets me every time😂
50 and less invasions are the best thing in this game. Chase is the bro here. I'm smashing that like and sub.
I could watch these all day
On two separate occasions I’ve encountered cheating on PS5 in the past week alone. Both were invaders. One was invincible like what we saw here, the other was invisible & one-shot me instantly. I could only tell a person was there from the particles off their weapon lol.
31:27 the way he just stood there and looked at you lmao
Chase, I would love if you made a video guide on inventory management. I wanna do an Erza Scarlet build and obviously hard swapping is pretty essential there. I’m sure the rest of the community would appreciate it as well.
When Chase was looking for the iron cleaver it seemed like he was waiting for the actual orb to appear. I don't know if he doesn't know this but as a general tip for everyone; If a killed creature is dropping an item they explode into a small cloud of white whisps right upon the killing blow. This is best seen at 39:00 when the dog is killed.
Love this series thanks for doing it again Chase
I love your vids. Also sword dance ash of war is in Liurnia of the lakes. Just a little recommendation. Oh, and the fact that you beat a cheater.... AMAZING!! Keep it up brother!
"we probably can't bleed the immortal" is such a raw line
Ayoo 😂It's been a long while since you got one of them HP hackers!
pls never change that intro of you'rs... u just gotta love it! ''Hey what's up guys, ChasetheBro here!''
Your timing and spatial awareness is so deadly if I was in a 3v1 vs a player like you I would tell my teammates to adopt a strategy of whoever is targeted keep retreating while the other 2 flank/range you while keeping a triangular shape.
You would always be chasing while simultaneously being chased
Also I love this series more than your regular random build pvp sessions
@@kingsaccountability AND being Chase
Probably a tough ask at low level but you can kill the cheater. Bleed him about 5 or 6 times since the damage on proc is percentage based. Gotta make sure they’re dumb enough to not roll through the procs though
This series is really fun to watch
I noticed when you were looking for the iron cleaver that you don't know you call tell if one is dropping something by this blue(?) flash they kind of give off. If there isn't one, no drop.
Yep blue sparkly flash
Cheaters are super annoying 😤
for anyone wondering, cheater invasion starts at 22:07
I love his videos and how good chase is. He makes it look so fun, but I hate it because I will try and just get face rolled the whole time. Always just a miserable time whenever I try invasions.
My hardest pvp challenge I've done so far is all blue flasks. Can only use spells or regen to heal (or ashes)
How is that dude not learning to just NOT do that each time he got parried?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Teabagging after losing your host to an invader, that's an interesting take."
Just one more time I would love to see a dark souls 3 pvp vid. I know the game isn’t nearly as popular as it was but I can still find invasions
I am addicted to this series
