Cmon Sarah! That’s gotta be the coolest Dining Table in the neighborhood!
I got the new stubby. Honestly haven't used it a ton but I have already found myself accidentally changing power modes. With that being said it did loosen a few bolts that my first gen stubby couldn't get and nothing bigger would fit in the tight space so the Gen 2 did come in clutch and earn it's spot on the tool box.
Thanks for the shout out!
Thanks for sharing the gadget. Not sure how I missed your video in the description links, but I added it.
No problem! Thanks again!
Nice to see Jake weihe getting some love
I'm excited about the anti-vibration gloves. OMG as I get older, this is a necessary accessory.
I love Milwaukee gloves, but only the lower working hand parts, I do not like that the wrist band always becomes loose/worn very quickly and does not give you that nice secure wrap around grip as all of its compactors. It ends up feeling like loose socks. I avoid them until I know they have fixed them.
Chapters in videos are welcomed
Good stuff guys 👍🏼
I have been using the gen-2 Milwaukee M12 stubby impact for a number of months now. While I think the previous way of selecting modes was faster and more intuitive, I have learned to live with the new method. I became more forgiving of the change when I learned that Milwaukee did it because the motor inside the tool got larger and thus no room for the old mode switch that was on the previous stubby. Otherwise, it has been a very capable tool for me.
Today I learned that you two weren't just co-hosts
For many years, we were. Sarah and I started dating a little over a year ago. We now live together with our mixed family. Honestly, we're just too busy to get married, but it'll happen. :)
@@ToolShow ahh, that's awesome! Wish you both the best!! (We can all see that you're definitely best friends, which is a great foundation to build off of!)
i said this over a year ago, how in the world did Rob land Sarah? I would have beers with Rob any day of the week. But Sarah, wow she is so quick witted and funny as hell.
I got the new stubby 1/2" at 31st of october and it got used the very next morning cause winter came and I had to change winter tires for two cars at 6am...
For those first uses it did get to protection mode and it switched modes but sonce then it has done great. I dont use it all the time but it soes what ot supposed to do.
I love my stubby!
👍
...when using it, you have to be calm...
The new method to switch modes on the M12 stubby is absolutely dreadful. It constantly changes when you don't want it to, and you're sitting there impacting in tight spots, and it's not moving. You pull it out, and you're like crap it's on level two. They need to go back to having a dedicated button that's for sure
As I mentioned, in the video, this is a common complaint we're hearing. Thanks for your insight!
ONE NICE THING IT NO Longer GOES INTO PROTECTION MODE NOW WITH IT SO COLD OUT SIDE
I would have bought both the 3/8” & the 1/2” by now if it wasn’t for this complaint
@@lilnapsak1828 HAVE PIN DETENT AND 3/8 BUT THEY DON'T PUT out the most Power unless you use 5 amp XC BATTERY
Said this from day 1 of them showing it at the tool show. I hate being right every time.
After watching Sarah announce the new hammer, I’m convinced she does these shows hammered. 😂
Wasn't going to buy the new stubby but ended up buying one along with a 5ah HP battery to go with it. It's actually very nice. Crazy powerful for the size and actually ever so slightly smaller then the outgoing model. Also the speed changer, thought I'd hate it but is actually not that bad at all.
Great call on Titan mattress but the move? Suburbia? Noooo 😂
LOL we feel ya Red. We'll miss our 5 acres. But our new neighborhood is great, and it houses both the elementary and intermediate schools that our littles will go to. So we can walk them to school, and there are plenty of friends to play with. We have plans for additional property (just for video production) in the future. :)
I've been thinking about testing a new Hyper Tough random orbital sander to failure. I'd just sit there, sanding wood until the thing breaks on live stream. With World of Concrete still over a week out, I'm tempted, just to give them something to talk about. I do like that hammer though.
It's funny. Destroying tools on camera is a guaranteed winner. But in our industry, it's made pretty clear from the beginning, and manufacturers are NOT ok with that. So the only way to do it, is to buy a brand new tool, and essentially destroy it for the clicks. But then you have to figure out what percentage of your viewers will get pissed because you destroyed a tool that could have been used to feed a family...etc. etc.
For what it's worth, I'd watch. :)
Id watch a time lapse of that sounds like a smoking good deal lol
@@ToolShow Thanks for that feedback! I've been tossing around the idea for a year, and may do it soon. If I do, I'll let you know!
@@MattHmm-rq6dn You don't want to sit there for hours on end watching me sand?? Aww.....
@@worstworkshop That would leave my eyes burning and literately sawing logs the hard way! lol
NEW HAMMER!!!!!!!! 🤯
putting the sawzall in the thumbnail when all they release was gloves is beyond slimey click bait...
I thought the same thing was hoping for a gen 2 m18 super sawzall!!!
The price is definitely reasonable on the laser. I want to learn more about it, very interesting!
$1200 for that laser tool is just insanity
Wow, that laser was cool until $$$
$11.99 is pretty reasonable….🙃
Most Milwaukee stuff is pretty cool until you reach the price
1:59 OMG!!! And people REALLY complain about the Festool domino! I think that they are getting a little carried away with themselves. Are they really selling a lot of these truly overpriced tools to the red army? I have a lot of red stuff, and I mean a lot of red stuff but there has to be a limit at some point, right? 🤯
The new method to switch modes on the M12 stubby is fine. In my use as car mechanic i like new better. Easier to use. 👍
Will this be the year of a cordless bench top planer? One can only hope. 👊🏻
More brands need to come out with better bench top planers... I'm kinda waiting to see what milwaukee is gonna do.... they might make it that double 18v
requires 3x 15ah flexvolts to run lol
@MattHmm-rq6dn at that point, mint as well just make it MX
At that point, Just leave it corded and use it with a big power bank like a ecoflow. Whitch you can also use to top up the 18v battery.
@ I’ve been keeping my eye on one of the echo flow units. The one I need to power a planer for approximately 1 hour was 1800. I think it’s down to 1100 now. I told myself I will seriously consider it when it gets below 800-900
Itll be interesting to see that laser go up against rhe stabila la180, but they dont have the pedigree that stabila does when it comes to measurement
The new switching on the m12 is perfectly fine people are just trying to find something they don't like and pressure them into switching it back so they can feel go about themselves getting their way lol just suck it up
Fellow Ohioan. The battery snowblowers are cool, yet you'll have to pry my two stage Craftsman from my cold, dead hands.
M12 Forge anyone???
Ahhh, poor Rob had to push the snow blower….. lol
Right? I have very delicate writer's hands man. I need to be pampered. :)
Can you add the channel for the band saw gadget:)
lol sorry about that Leann! It's linked.
Yay thanks!
Considering I just bought a killer little USB-C rechargeable green laser on Amazon for under $30 Milwaukee has up and lost their minds with their pricing. Sure they're probably tougher, have more features, use their batteries (of course, why not just make it USB-C) and so on but for THAT price??? DeWalt has let me down to the point of leaving them for good, WAS going to jump to Milwaukee but now I'm looking at Makita instead. Man their prices are just insane 😂😂
$1199 usd is nearly $2000 aud.
Dewalt is literally half the price for the same thing
Go Bucks!!
YES SIR! O-H!
Rob, Sarah, and crew. As a long time viewer I have a sincere comment to make. That thumbnail is really disappointing coming from you guys. Please continue to be a reliable source of accurate information and don’t use clickbait. I wear your channel sticker on my hard hat every day. I watched the whole video hoping to see the sawzall which looked new, only to realize it was the gloves. You had edited the picture to look different. I’ve been mentally tuned off to this channel because I’m noticing that trend more and more. Also the sponsorships have been spotty, some are good and some are not. Maybe I’m not the target audience.
God bless everyone there, happy new year as well!
Doesn't sound like Sarah has ever swung a hammer before?
Not to form metal, no. Neither have I for that matter. :)
Hell no that laser level is too expensive I wouldn't mind if it cost 699
I didn’t know they were married until now.
I want to know where Rob found a woman that loves tools and lets him use it as furniture.
A standard 4 car driveway. Only in America.
@@DavidHh1969 You don’t get visitors? Or have kids?
she still said Kuh Nip X
Just realize they are married.
I just realized that as well.
Production crew?
THANK GOD FINALLY A 4LB HAMMER FOR SHAPING METAL THE WAIT IS OVER!
Still a Ryobi product...
Anybody spending money on one of these red, yellow or bosch laser levels is spending Way too much for a laser level....I got a 3 plane 360° laser level of amazon for about 30 bucks...has a rechargeable batt remote control and mounting bracket...and is just as accurate as the big names...it's the same technology...matter of fact it has three different brightness levels...hupar dovoh and maitheuo are all really good brands from amazon and tend to have more and better features and they're green and rated for 100ft or better.
5:23 Sarah those weird aches and pains ya mysteriously wake up with is most likely from you both kicking each other in your sleep😅
O-H
Bro... ya'll a couple?
WTF... HF releases new stuff every week, including a new Bauer SDS this week. Just a hammer??? Just WTF?
Their shows just show milwaukee tools. FLEX has released a bunch of tools and never heard anything about them. Hope they pull their sponsorship and they can just call themselves the Milwaukee show
We report on every single new FLEX tool. We also have some featured segments coming up. They sent me the full set of buffers, and consumables I need to polish up Sarah's car. Also have the new nailers on hand.
Nice bait and switch on the thumbnail. I thought you guys were better than that
What were you looking for? The gloves and the laser are both featured in the show.
@@ToolShow the thumbnail was clearly featuring the tool and not the gloves. I left a separate comment about that
@@ToolShow Whats with the red leds on the sawzall near the trigger? If that sawall was not modified then I apologize, but I cant find one with those LEDs
I wanna hear about the tarps
