Unless you start taking steroids, you won't bulk up lifting heavy weights. I work out at a gym with bikini and fitness competitors and learned about that myth. Women get more shapely, lifted and strong. We don't have enough natural testosterone to bulk up without the use of synthetic drugs.
This is one of the major beliefs that keeps women from lifting. They want to be toned but don’t realize that being toned just means building muscle and losing body fat 😅

So if you look at someone like Dana Linn Bailey, she’s on some sort of performance enhancing drug. Then you have people like Katy Hearn, Leana Deeb and Meg Squats all are natural and lift and don’t have masculine physiques

Hello, oh to be young again! I am almost 64 years old, well into or done with menopause, overweight, have diabetes, osteoarthritis and am just not as mobile or energetic as I used to be ! Congratulations to you for your tremendous weight loss. I was able to do it with ease when I was your age too, but never dealt with a big amount of weight to lose until after I was probably in my 50’s and had a hysterectomy, which put me directly into menopause. I have been watching your videos and like what you say and I will be trying to change my habits to reduce my carbs, which I actually have been for awhile, since diagnosed with diabetes. I don’t consume sugar any longer (or rarely), I walk every day, which is about the extent I can do regarding exercise because of my osteoarthritis. I just don’t see much progress on weight loss. Anyway, I will keep trying, why not, and hopefully I will someday be able to see some progress. Thanks for all of your suggestions, recipes and ideas to help people who need it. Any thoughts you may have for me in my journey, at this point in my life, would be welcome!

I am on a weight lost program, I have lost 25 lbs and we do have to weigh ourselves daily, i am diabetic also, so I have to watch the carbs, I have a bad knee and my back is out of wake so its hard for me to exercise. I want to start doing chair exercises. But I also have the issue with the skin hanging, I have to get my teeth fixed, and its so enlightening to see you do this. Myra Help. Please...... Personally I didn't realize how sensitive I was to certain foods until I changed to a low carb lifestyle. Adding food back in occasionally here and there I definitely feel that and it's not fun. My body is now better at telling me for sure! It's helpful to listen to your own body because we are all different. Started following you for food ideas and still watching you as it keeps me motivated.

After a nightmare year of 5 major operations and being on life support twice i have made some major changes starting in 24 especially foods and exercising. Ive lost 1.3kg this week! Just by following your advice. What im struggling with is the snacking. I do opt for high protein snacks like tuna or an egg but i find im snacking too often. How do i stop this?
