- It’s certainly easier to make assumptions about people than it is to spend time getting to know someone. We wanted to put assumptions to the test to see what we're missing out on because we're so busy assuming we already "know" a person. Join us as we discover why you should never judge a book by it’s cover in our series 'Tell My Story, Blind Date.'
We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this experiment, we challenged these biases by asking people to guess their partner's interests and past experiences based only on their partner's appearance. When they learned their partner's real answers, they were shocked by how wrong they were.

Have you people ever lost someone? She knows his pain since she lost her dad not long ago. And when you feel the other person pain you know that saying sorry is the useless thing to say.
When my dad passed I hated when people said I’m sorry, still kinda don’t know how to respond to it. So I never said it to anyone I would just be present and listen. I don’t think it’s right of you to assume.

Those that mean a lot will always mean a lot. And, if you feel it--truly let yourself feel the moment while recalling your memories with them--...no matter the time..., it will ache. I know I still get teary eyed about my grandfather. It's been 12 years now.. When my grandmother passed away....I barely knew much about her, so it doesn't have the same emotions because I don't have very many memories, moments or events to recall when I think of her. Though,.... I wish I had more time with her to get to know her....By the way, I am sorry for the loss of both your grandparents... I hope that something positive about her soothes your aching soul. Maybe we all need breaks from those moments to recoup and remember our loved ones. Take the time to you need to be away from the situation, it's ok. Take care.

Those commenting on her badly only see and hear what they want to hear. What a cynical world. Also, her father just died, most of the people commenting that she doesn't comment on his loss probably haven't lost someone so dear yet. For her it's still extremely raw and she probably is just grateful in this moment that someone who understands, acknowledges her loss. He is a gentleman. He knew grief still had her tight in its grip.

This makes for a good start because given the mechanics of this activity you really set your mind to become more curious about and actively pay attention to the other person. So thats really a good start. Sets the mood right for them.

My dad is my heart and he passed in 2011 and it still hurts in 2018 but, it does get easier. My love and memories are like a seed that grew into a garden bed of wonderful love blossoms ( for lack of better terms) and it always sunny and warm. I love and miss you Tyrone Sails and Artelia Leaks/ Sails.
I can relate to the guy my dad had alot of health issues an this just made me cry man.... my dad went 4 years of hell with health issues he was diabetic an he got lung cancer from smoking alot thwn he beat lung cancer but down the road his one lung was tryna give out but he got some infection in his foot so the doctors told him his foot or his kidneys so he choose his foot but obviously it didnt matter his kidneys were tryna give out to but he went on dialysis for good 1 year until hes kidneys failed thats when he started to eat unhealthy an what not then he had major heart problems an he needed a heart transplant but able tp get transplant he needed healthy kidneys but everything wasnt in place....... so start of my senior year he passed on September 21st around 6:30am and i am very very sad until this day losing someone yoh loved that is now gone... i watched him go before my eyes ever since my freshman year it was always in an out of hospital hopefully down the road i cqn do a video but with an sketch artist or someone btw im only 17 my words are eat healthy keep your body healthy cause you only get one body an love someone thats in your family thats having the same issues cause it was too late to love my dad an he wanted to go to my graduation but i hope hes looking down from the skys i love dad an i love this video very mucb
