    I don't normally comment twice. But this was legitimately the best thing I have ever watched in 2023. Please do more ecosystems when you find the time. I loved the dune scorpion's ultraviolet light and the blue beetles. I love how you weren't afraid to truly simulate life in the desert. And the Jericho plant expansion was the coolest event because that was just straight beautiful! Keep it up, the bell is on!

    I won't lie fully panicked when I thought you were serious about the bearded dragon! I own one and the tank being too small is only the tip of the iceberg on how unsuitable and dangerous a home like this would have been. That aside, absolutely gorgeous set up for these little critters!!! I love the ecosystem videos because it's something that takes a lot of patience and knowledge to get balanced but is so beautiful and worth it when you are able to achieve it!!

    I love how this is a tiny ecosystem based on real life ecosystems, kind of like a simulation, but real! Also, at 2:26, I love how they were saying how careful they have to be, which is true, but then strait up picks up the scorpion and puts it in the tank. Pretty funny, but also very professional.

      Scorpions have big reputation but in truth a wasp is more dangerous. Most scorpions are extremely afraid of humans, wasps are not. But that's not even the most scary killer that lurks everywhere, a mosquito. It kills more humans than basically all other animals together. Ironically no one is that afraid of them.

    I love how the drying up and rain cycle works, not only is it pure genius and amazing, it’s also pretty close to how some of these creatures would actually live in the wild, I find it astounding how you put so much effort into simulating a desert environment.

      @@lantongalger3477 Yeah, the creatures likely don't even "suffer" that much from it, given how invertebrates usually lack intelligence. Even if it kills the animals, it's not much different then feeding a cricket to a lizard, it's just how nature works.

    Dude, you gotta set up a 24/7 livestream of this terrarium that goes on constantly. I would watch that every day man
    Edit: the terrarium could have multiple cameras. The video feed could switch between cameras when it detects movement. Also, there could be a camera that detects moisture or water and the camera would be a lot more active in the stream when it does.
    Also $10 to cause rain with a long cooldown time to prevent over-flooding.
    (These are further improved(mainly second one) ideas in the replies (I didn’t read all 80 tho).

      The most common way of doing it was to use a small amount of water to make a sauce that would last 🎉 This was my favorite dish of choice and the result 😅 The best thing about the sauce was that I had a good idea of what it tasted and ❤ how I could use that in a sauce to get it in a dish I was making for dinner or dinner and it was so delicious and I was so happy I had to make it myself and

      For real!     I've been following for over a year now
    I'm in my mid 30s and this is still the coolest stuff I've ever seen. The whole symbiosis and self sustaining nature of it all is just incredible. I'm loving every bit of this. I show everyone I can. My co-workers are loving it and my family too. Never stop!

    You know what would be super cool? A live video where you have cameras all across the whole tank and the stream switches to where ever there is most movement. I think that would be cool

    I noticed the clowns hadn't fully disappeared, but had bred with the zebras, and ultimately washed out their colors, but their pattern somewhat still remains 🤔
    Love how you have so many organisms here, especially with the Triops. Making me want to start my own sometime soon

    I used to live in Phoenix Arizona. I was always fascinated how the desert would wake up with some rain kudos to you. This is an a very awesome incredible little diorama of sorts of a Sonoran desert lifespan. Your western music, your voice over everything mimicking lightning and rain. You are incredible creator.

    This is an amazing channel concept. I love the documentary style approach to investigating each environment and the way you build and construct each biome is so cool. Not to mention how you’ve thought of the inner mechanisms like water and the crustacean’s in it vs land animals and their predators. Overall, love this channel and look forward to seeing more of what you have coming!

      well to be fair, while the dune scorpion is venomous, it's not very dangerous to humans. If you get stung you definitly should get an antidote but you most likely won't have any serious effect even if you don't.

    So if you wanted to do a lizard and scorpion set up, I’d recommend looking into spiny tailed lizards and flat tailed scorpions. They share burrows in the wild under a symbiotic relationship, the scorpion protects the lizard from larger predators while the lizard eats ants that would normally be a problem for the scorpion.

    This ecosystem is definitely my favorite, especially the rose of jericho. I didnt know that theres a plant that can be alive when theres an abundance of water, then go to a dormant state when theres no water. Hopefully you'll give us an update video of this tank!
