Hey Brendon you’ve finally got it. The Milo Lines Team Rocks! Brendon look back at how many videos you have done with hundreds of instructors and today with Ed you have got the athletic golf swing with the desired results you have been looking for all these years. Congratulations to you and Team Milo Lines.
Thanks Jerry
This is probabley in the top ten instruction videos you have done . It explains how to move and prevent back injuries. Like you I suffer with over active hands and it messes with the learning process as you react to ball direction while learning….The Milo starter kit video and this one would get most beginners on a better path sooner for good golf - great video - keep up the good work👍👍
Thanks Ben
I’ve been working with Ed for over a year and he is a great instructor and very responsive to my questions. Highly recommend anyone interested booking a lesson with Ed!
Brendon, the highlight of my week is viewing the videos you produce with Milo, Ed, and John Erickson.
I know a lot of work goes into these productions. We’re very grateful for your efforts because the ideas in these videos help our golf games so much.
All the best to everyone this Christmas and New Year’s.
Best wishes, Vince Schiavo
The last 2 videos have been an eye opener. At 75 years of age , thankfully I am still very flexible, I am so excited to work on this method. Wish you guys were around in my younger days.
Much thanks to both of you.
Happy holidays.
brendon, it's been fun and rewarding watching and learning from you on your golf quest because as you learn you're really helping us, your followers. the move of getting your shirt buttons over the zipper is really a key move for me, i've been trying it outside. thnx guys.
I enjoy these videos! I was having so much trouble getting my body around, I did not know what was controlling the down and around , my leg? My hip? My upper body? Until I heard in a video you have to feel as your belt buckle need to point down at your lead heal durning transition in the downswing, which clicked for me and made my down and around. Great video!
Love to watch Milo demonstrate and swing but Ed does an incredible job explaining and illustrating those movements! The bend move is one that I'll be drilling over the next several months.
Ed is awesome!
Thanks for the outstanding content!
Your swing has never looked this good. Finally releasing with body and no stall flip, great work!
Great vid guys. Ed's so good, I need to book him for a lesson.
Pause and look at that position you're in at 14:06 when Ed's pulling you away. A lot of good movement happening. Great illustration of how to move.
Makes me think that when the likes of John Daley and Rory were swinging heavy clubs as juniors, all the big muscles do the work, as there’s no other option
@@longevity-essentials probably something in that for sure
Brandon, we suffer from the same takeaway fault, a bit of rolling of the lead arm. The breakthrough I just had tonight was feeling an element of just lifting my arms straight up. Will sound foreign for most without this problem but combined a 45 degree wrist set and with the turn it’s amazing. Puts you in the perfect position at the top. Give it a try and post back.
That’s the advantage of moving into left bend correctly, it supports a more vertical takeaway, then lays down as you move into right bend on the downswing
Great insights. Already able to apply these concepts after watching a few of yours and Milo's videos. Looking forward to our virtual lesson Thursday.
Hi Brendon and Ed! I'm the bully from the other video. Ed, great demonstration. You look just like Milo. I now know I'm doing exactly all the wrong things... It's tougher than it looks. I can't feel speed or weight... I have a golf lesson today.... I guess I'll leave it to the coach... but I would really like to learn this move. Great stuff!!!
FYI, you weren’t being a bully. 👍🏼
I was doing this couple years ago before following you and thought it was wrong because the club was so far behind me but now I know it’s a good way to go
Ed and Milo seem so similar. From their motion to how they talk. Some videos I get confused who is who! Great video Brendon.
I wished I had Milo’s speed😂
@@edlasatergolf i think everyone does! love the lesson you gave. Really good visuals and explanation. The “lining up the buttons” idea is great for people watching and not in person. Got a lot out of this. Thanks
Hello, been watching your content and this is the best I’ve ever seen you swing it’s truly transformative. Its a completely different move through impact very impressive keep up the good work and keep making good contact thank you
As always, thanks Brendon!
I tried the tow it method from the first video loved it so much simple method thanks for sharing
brendon, you nailed some of those shots and your action looked real good. merry xmas.
Brendon is putting in the work and will likely see some good scores soon.
Great that you share this lesson 👍 It is interesting how pros can explain how their "method" is safer than others. I mean, you can find many pros who teach swinging to right field with hands. They say that it is safer because there is less body rotation. Well offcource both can work, and we have seen great players with many styles.
Brilliant video!!
Thanks Gary
Great content on this one.
Thanks👍🏼
15:07 When you say the push creates the bend, can you explain this in more detail? Thank you
This could be a long explanation but I’ll try to be concise. The legs are brakes for rotation. As you shift pressure right, your right brakes and your upper torso starts to turn against it and pulls your hips into rotation. When your lead hip goes down(pressure moves forward) this moves your spine into right bend.
@@edlasatergolf Thank you so much Ed for the explanation.
Amazing video
As i takeaway about 3/4 at the top, i feel the bend start at the same time. is this how you feel when swing the club?
That’s hard to say without seeing your swing
Yo yo! Love the vids! It looks like youre coming over the top or at least your hands aren't getting shallow. Am I just seeing it wrong.
No you’re correct(sort of), Brendon’s hands kick out in transition, then his body responds by sliding and tilting to get the club to the inside.
I just Love watching theese videos, gets the exakt same faults in my swing , blocks pullhooks, and sh*nks, lots of them, been watching you for years and recognize myself every time, also tall myself, i realised something regarding the back shoulder, If i pull it back from my shoulder socket(wich it naturally does for me) If i try to keep my back shoulder in the same place it started it feels like it would be much easier to naturally rotate, and also to get my wrists in the correct position, i would like to see you look into this because i can't find anything about it. Im not by anymeens some knowitall, just a curios guy who shanked to much in my life and should have quit the sport years Ago, but i kove the sport too much. Cheers and Marty Christmas from Norway❤️
Sounds like your saying when you pull your right shoulder back your expanding your right side and thus moving into left bend👍
@@edlasatergolf not at all what om saying
Your swing looks much more together with this technigue.
Thanks James👍🏼
Whenever I try this drill my upper body / arms come over the top like at 06:20. Still a mystery how the club falls back on plane for you guys
Make sure you move into right bend without applying a pull down or out force with the hands
The irons seem an easier fit--contact and direction. Driver not so much--at this point. Looking forward to more when you have your Milo lessons.
How does it work with gem golf aid
I now am to afraid to say anything on your channel . . you called me a weirdo . . thanks Brendan, check my messages, never said a bad word to anyone !
Semper Fi Brother🦾
Good stuff!
Gonna try this in Vegas next week...
(Snow covered here in Chicago)
Wish I could make it to the Golf School with you guys. Santa already informed me that this won't be one of my gifts 😒 🎅🎄
We have another school in February in San Diego
Just an observation . Dr Kwan tells you to not open up squat move . Milo tells you open and squat. No wonder you are confused 😂
How do you not have the best swing in the world?
Hi Brendon & Ed, for us older golfers (66) does this move 'crunch' the lower spine?
No sir, the bends happen in your upper thoracic not lower lumbar
Milo Lines doesn't have his shirt buttons over his zipper at P6 . Look at his driver slow motion video on you-tube.
If you look at my gears 3d capture upper center and lower center are stacked at p5 from then on the upper is working back.
Yes , but hear what Ed said at 10:28- 10:33 when Brendon was at the P6 position. He says "now you look like Milo, your buttons are on the top of your zipper".
@@jackflash8756 I heard and I’ll say he’s off by I position max force under the lead foot should happen around p5 so the centers are stacked at that point but from 5 to 8 the upper center is working away from the target. The feel he is teaching is correct for most however.
Dr KWOG full swing movement with arms crossed over the chest , Shift and turn up sharp, it really works even when you choke ;
just feels like the most unnatural thing ever to me lol
Maybe the most confusing video yet on the ‘golf swing.’
I get message that you have ongoing giweaway to subscripers❓Is that real or fake❗❓
all due respects, seems like they're trying to fit your swing into their pattern. better off optimizing your swing, as under pressure you'll invariably go back to your swing and can't be thinking about too much while playing
That’s a great point, no doubt on the range and in a lesson you’re training. When you play, you should try to not think golf swing but how do I score. Hopefully the training was sufficient to bleed into your play brick by brick.
Thanks for watching
Where’s Ed coach at?
San Diego
Your arms are too slow with this method. Bent right elbow is a myth. This action is ruining the majority of golf swings. These guys can do it because they have ingrained this horrible move. But the majority should not do this. The motion is so contrived and difficult to teach. Why make it so complicated? Lesson hours?
This is simply athletics not just golf. I Can’t think of any hitting activity where you hit with a straight trail elbow. I’d love to see your swing sir.
Of course the right arm isn’t completely straight that’s not possible. But to have any inclination that the right arm should still be bent and not straightening coming into impact makes golf very hard. Try it you might see a difference in your game. What you are teaching is just so difficult to do. I am sure you play great with it. Send me your email address and I will send you my swing.
@@MiloLinesGolf I’ve been viewing a lot of old MORAD footage recently. didnt Mac o Grady teach a straightening of the right elbow (not totally straight so it’s locked out) when you come down, right elbow tucked in
@@Hoofcake yes he did and we want it to straighten as well but it should reach straight somewhere beyond impact
Omg you have over complicated throwing a ball. Wow guys. Swing a baseball bat at the ball and stay centered. Omg I simplified all this blah blah.
You must be gifted with a natural golf swing. For the rest of us this instruction is gold.
Nope not at all. Too much technical crap in your head will never last. So go down this road and you will be search for more garbage on UA-cam in six months.
