Also worth noting that mages / hunters may be able to farm mobs that can drop MSA. If that is the case, you can choose that avenue to get the item and get even more prio / dkp in your guild runs.
Excellent video as always. Grim the rogue used Misplaced Servo arm back in his epic pvp compilations. gotta take it just for the nostalgia (on top of the crazy damage)
Grassil still does more damage even if it does work as an aura, but obviously MSA does some nature damage as opposed to all physical which is better in many situations.
Not sure if you wanna pick that up in a later video, but I do not agree on your worst pieces of tier, as all three of these are actually highest prio apart from weapons for PvP for a simple reason: You can get 4/9 t3 bonus with these pieces and still wear either 5/5 T2.5, PvP-set or even 5/8 T1 in the other slots. 4/9 T3 is insanely good in PvP, especially on Dagger: Assuming your Backstab crits, you can now open with Cheap Shot -> Backstab -> Gouge, because you get the extra energy you need for the Gouge from the 4 set bonus. Even as Hemo, extra energy is obviously never bad. So getting gloves, bracers, belt and ring is actually huge for pvp and should be considered prio over the other set pieces, because you can easily get some powerful setboni from the other slots without having to commit into full t3 and just get the least contested items for the highest value for PvP (which was somewhat the point of your video, right?).
That only really applies to hemo, as dagger would gain more from Tier 1 then death dealer in most cases where you would want to swap out of tier 3. If you are going to use t1 5 set it is completely different pieces than the death dealer set. 4/9 tier 3 is far less good for hemo, meaning in the situations where you want to use death-dealer you can break the t3 4 set. I will cover this in the set video, but hopefully that makes sense.
@@Zatar I disagree. The 4/9 T3 gives you the exact 5 Energy you need to Gouge in opener as Dagger (with Renataki's you get two Backstabs into cheap shot, so it is super unlikely not to crit). And like I said, you can use 5T1, PvP set OR 5/5 Deathdealer and still get the 4 piece of T3 with the the exact items you put on lowest prio. So no, it does not really make sense. Not getting 4/9 is straight up bad, no matter what spec. Also, these 4 are pieces you will never have to swap out for the most common gimmick items (which is head and boots), so you do not even have to worry about switching gear around all the time you want to use Rocket Boots/Helmet
If you were going to use Tier 1 as dagger you have to use wrist and belt. If you don't then you have to start swapping out items like chest and helmet and you lose too many stats. The five energy from t3 is really good with dagger I don't disagree there, but the pieces you mentioned really only makes sense if you're going to use the death dealer. I have the damage increases of all the set bonuses, so in the video it will make more sense
Think we are kind of meaning the same essentially. The 5/8 T1 example might has been a little misleading. There is no real reason to play t1 with 4/9 t3 anyway, was mainly making that point because I figured that your main focus of the video was to get the best value out of the items, so you can focus on the important weapons etc and not have to worry about highly contested items like the full t3 set as much. So yeah you are right, this is mainly the go-to strategy if you just want to keep 5/5 Deathdealer. You do not lose out on too many stats really (and get the nice 15% Evis bonus) and can focus your dkp/loot prio more on other things while still getting the insanely useful setbonuses of t3. That's why I would actually prio those over like pants or chest, as these would just split the other setbonus and are harder to get overall. But I stand by my point that getting 4/9 is the next best thing after weapons, just because of how good both setbonuses are for PvP
@@Zatar how much better is he? what exactly is the difference, it's a shame on ShadowPanther in the pvp column it doesn't seem to take into account this calculation it's a shame because in pvp it's hemo who plays the most with maces and swords
Yes. Going from AQR to gressil or MSA is going to be a massive increase. The damage gain you get from that is around the damage increase you get from upgrading every other piece to naxx best in slot.
I'm going to release a video on how good the set bonuses are and what combination of gear is best. I would recommend checking that out to decide which pieces of future to aim for first.
The purpose is to identify which items are going to best improve your character. Helps people who don't know which items are valuable and which items are low impact

I hope you keep making these PRIO vids into Tbc. They help me even as a warrior
yesss been waiting for this one. thanks homie!

Yeah I'm going to do a video comparing gressil directly but it's very very close.
I definitely think MSA is better against High armor targets.
@@Zatar Double MSA is bis for pvp if it still works like an aura as back in the days.

I'll be grabbing boots of displacement and some random dagger. Ty
Love it man. Keep it up.
Will we get to see your new Naxx gear and raiding?
Thunderfury bis offhand in p6??
Can you explain why death sting is better than maexxna fang? Weapon skill is useless in pvp
2 AP + 2 stam + higher weapon dmg is better than 1 hit.
are you going to make a video explaining whats better, full t3 or t2.5 + t3 for hemo ? i cant decide what will be better
Yes
Can someone explain to me why The Castigator is worse than AQR for hemo? What am i missing?
Hemo is not normalized, look into attack normalization.
Tldr: aqr being slower actually increases the damage of hemo.
@@Zatar thanks for the answer. Isn't the patch 1.8 normalization fixes affect these calculations?
Everything except hemo

한국도 이렇게 도적템 설명해주는 사람 있었으면..
Probably no class leader will give u gressil for pvp if your name isnt Payo...
You don't tell them it is for PVP. You're going to use it in the raid obviously as well. You just make your case that you're passing on other items.
Does slayers crest remove stealth
Yes
You know very well that nobody really listens to prio lol

Many raids do. My raid has a list set.
