I have made hundreds of baby beanies from various tutorials & yours is the first tutorial I've used a slip stitch to join from the back stitch. This makes the beanie look so much nicer & there is no gaping hole. Thank you so very much

Omgosh! I have never found anyone who wraps their yarn like me until now! I only do one wrap on the index but that is subjective. I learned this for tension control when I first learned to crochet at around 9yrs old and have done it ever since

Good morning 👋🏽. Thank you for taking the time to show how to do the "Star Stitch" . I have tried it before, and it was intimidating. But as it popped up I said "it's Michelle Keonna, give it a try" Thanks, and lots of love 🙏🏽🕊️❤️

Hi, how do you increase for the larger sizes, it wasn't mentioned in the tutorial. Do you use more starting stitches? Or do you increase by adding during each round? If the latter, what pattern do you increase with after 1,1,2?

I’m a little bit confused if we have the first line of stars at 40 stitches then the half double crochet adding 2 in every eye. Mine end up with 60 stitches not 39. Please tell me where did I do wrong? Thanks

Does the chain of each round count as a stitch? Also do you put the first stitch after the chain in the same stitch as the slip stitch?

an adult's head measures between 21-23 inches (53-58 cm) so you would have to calculate based on your gauge

I’m so confused, I’m lost on the initial increase, 4 rows of increase, but do all the rows get two 1/2 double crochets in them? Or it it every other gets two 1/2 doubles?

Same. This explanation is so unclear. At least she should show twice and then complete the round because it is so confusing to follow the pattern.
