Your video should be must-watch content for Diamond painting newbies. I use the same marble rolling pin on my canvases. It’s a fantastic diamond painting tool! I honestly think I use it more for dp-ing than baking!
You have a great list, most off mine is similar. But what I also need is little ziplock baggies 5x7 or 6 x 8 cm and thickness 4 ml. If a kit comes and some plastic is broken, I can store the other drills from that baggie into a ziplock bag. Also very nice to use for a little small project or for if you keep your drills. For those reasons it is a must for me. 🐱
Great Video DPA. Always Good to do a Review once in a while because you always pick up on something new that you may have missed of forgotten about. Really enjoyed it with my morning Coffee. Thank you so much DPA. (Florida Bob)
I highly recommend trying the Bellaartdenicole trays, the one you shared is actually a similar copy of their 2.0 designs. I absolutely agree with everything you recommended, so I most definitely think you would like the Bella trays as much as I do, my only other item I would add in addition to what you recommended is also a Bellaartdenicole item, they invented, that’s a Bella hexagon tool. It holds 6 of your multi-placers at once, which is also super comfortable to use, because i too have carpal tunnel & arthritis. But if you really enjoy that other tray, the Bella tray I can highly recommend. I’ve been diamond painting 10 years this April, I have tried everything under the sun it feels up until this point of course. Since finding Bellaartdenicole, I’ve found I enjoy diamond painting so much more now. The satisfaction of how easy drills perfectly align in their patent pending trays is beyond anything I ever expected. So I really do hope you give one a try.
I have several Bella trays, though I prefer the older design with the pour spout in the corner versus the newer ones with the stopper. I’ve tried a budget hexagon tool, but have never tried the Bella one. I think my hands are too small and not sure it’s an item I would actually use. Whatever works for you and makes you happy is the best tool!!
Yes, many people find those essential. I'm one of those weird ones who finds that the light pad strains my eyes, so I prefer good strong overhead lighting. 😄
I still use the condiment containers. I've tried some of the bead containners and have not liked them. I like the condiment ones but I may try the one you use some time later. I wonder how you store all of the washi tape? Thanks for sharing!
Everyone has their preferences. For now, all my washi tape gets stored in a small basket. I’d like a better way to store it, but haven’t gotten around to it yet! Thanks for watching!!
Any tips on how to load the micro dots and putty, right now I use plastic tips. Also,My drills constantly stick to the dots and I find it difficult to separate. Same thing with the museum putty. I waste a lot of time using these products, what am I doing wrong?
I load the glue dots with tweezers. For the putty, I roll a piece into a snake to load into multiplacers. If the glue dots are too sticky, I dab them against my shirt sleeve or something to pick up a bit of lint. This cuts down the stickiness and makes it easier for the drills to come off the pen. I’ve heard of using cornstarch for the same reason, though I’ve not tried that myself. Remember the putty can be temp sensitive, so if you’ve handled it a lot while loading it, maybe let it rest a bit (or do like I do and pop it in the fridge) so it firms back up before you use it. Maybe I should do a video on this. 🤔

Same!! I can’t remember that last time I used it for baking, but I use it almost daily for diamond painting! 😄
This is such a great list! I’d add a great pair of tweezers. Essential for me. And I prefer a light pad AND good overhead lights. 😆
Tweezers are just not my friend when it comes to diamond painting!! 😂
Thank for sharing. Good information for a starter. Continue to enjoy. Peace and love abide with you 💕
Thanks for watching!

I use baggies to store my spare drills, and 4 mil is a must - the 2 mil ones are just too flimsy. Thanks for watching!

I have a facialroller that the small end broke off, I use the other end for a roller,
Nice! Thanks for watching!!

How do you attach the glue dots?!?
The glue dots get shoved inside the hollow part of the pen, where the pink wax would normally go. Thanks for watching!!
