I think Teemaw from DP with Sparklers was just showing some ArtDot drawer inserts that can help organize the bottles inside each drawer. They’re a 3-D printed “plastic” insert similar to the foam ones from your black case that will allow the containers to sit in nicely without moving around and getting all out of order. This was a fun mentally challenging organizational kit up!❤ Thank you for sharing. 😊
I just pick whatever static guard spray is available at my local store. And yes, I spray it on a cotton swab and then swirl that through the drills. Thanks for watching!!
Yeah I do not hear the background noise as well but I do have a suggestion. 😊 There are noise cancelling curtains if you are close to a window and they do work; I have them for my recordings and the sound luckily does not record for I am basically right next to a road 😒. I found them on Amazon.
Love your videos! Everyone has bad days and weeks lol.. I have issues with some sounds also. Even though some sounds we should acclimate to over time they say...I just don't. Calmer ear plugs saved my sanity. Maybe you could check those out if you think they'd be helpful. Hugz
Wow what a pain in the behind lol No bueno! My daughter and I say the same thing😂 I thought we were the only ones lol Well since you are using bottles, if you need only a few, you can dump a few out in the lid. Saves a lot of time and aggravation. Btw I never hear the cars or dog in your videos. Have a great weekend!
For a dsa I just use the cover sheet it comes with. I divide it up evenly with a razor blade. I made my sections 4x4 of the 10x10 grids. For the size I was working with it made enough daily sections for it to take me about 6 weeks.
I could, but I just like having something prettier to look at besides the boring blue and white, lol. I hope my plan lets me stay on track, even though I’m already behind! 😂
With this many issues, I would have unfortunately considered this a throw away kit. You have more perseverance than I do. That's why I could never do a xlarge piece.
👋 I always put the DMC number on the top of my round storage pots. It's the only consistent way across all kits, (I hope). Tend to remember 310 is black, and others will become easier. I just look up the symbol that matches. So sorry you are having such a tedious time. I have only done pictures 30cm x 40cm as Amazon have some frames for this size. 😊
Oh Daphne, so nice to meet you. I will say a prayer for you and ask to give you patience. I have a kit from UK with 200+ colors, and I am afraid to kit it up. Since all the colors are nicely packed in numerical order in 3 bags, do you think i can just keep them in there and work with baggies, given i put them pack in same order. I do not hear any outside noise. We are too preoccupied in your kit up.
Hi I love using the bottles in the case keeps everything together. they are the easiest and they are lined up nicely. I have seen someone do card stock strips between the bottles in the drawer. Dividing them into rows.. I like the idea of Drawers but knowing me I would flip them over trying to get them out. 😂❤😊
I haven’t tried it, but I heard that putting the baggies with the drills in the freezer for a while helps with the static. Has anyone tried it? I’m curious to know if it works 😊
Hi Daphne - I’ve recently found you & am slowly working thru your videos. I’m learning so much from you. I love your style. You may see me pop up with questions as I walk thru your videos. Soooo…. 1st question: where did you get your little tower to load up your bottles? I like it led at your product info for this video & didn’t see. Appreciate your time. TTFN♥️
Very interesting to watch and it is so satisfaying to see everything organized! I'm a real organisation geek 😅 If you didn't found a solution for the foam tray I have one for you : At Michales they have craft foan in sheets of 3mm (or 1/8") and they normally have it in black. You can use trace your foam cut it with cisors and glue it with a little bit of hot glue 😊 (It will be mostly permanent tho, the glue will penetrate the foam with your bottles.
I could have, but since I bought the kit in 2021 and didn’t open it until now, they likely wouldn’t honor any warranty. It’s all good - I’ve got spare drills if I need them. Thanks for watching!!
I just kitted up a DAC kit and static city winter time is not the time for kitting up the heat kicks in and it is so dry need the humidifier on just not enjoying the process
I am new to this craft so my question might sound dumb. Why are you just not using the bags that the drills come in instead of putting them in the bottles? Thank you.
@@dare2dreambig313 Not at all! You can work directly from the baggies if you like. Two reasons I don’t - 1) I am clumsy and end up spilling drills everywhere if I use the baggies; 2) I like organizing the drills into my containers, whether that is my bottle cases or my Elizabeth Ward trays. Thanks for watching!!
If you sort using the DMC numbers, don’t you then spend time searching the list for the corresponding symbol that you see on the canvas? I see it as either time spent remembering how I’ve sorted the symbols or looking for the symbol on the chart. It seems like remembering how I’ve sorted the symbols goes quicker because as you work on the project you tend to remember the placement in your drill case.
I do spend a bit of time searching when I begin a project, but once I’ve done a section or two, I generally remember where all the symbols are in the cases without having to refer to the schematic. And this one should be easier than my last DPD, as I had drills in 6 different storage cases - this time it’s only 2! Thanks for watching!!
Actually can't hear any background noises. God love you with all that mess up! I have JW spirit of flight from DP Deutschland. I had ordered the square and ended up getting the round, there was an error on the order page (as it said square but had round coding) They did offer to replace kit or give partial refund to keep the round. I opted to keep the round as it was easier. I started kit up but still a long way to go. I haven't had any static yet (fingers crossed!) but knowing what I know, you have the patience of a saint as I'd be cursing a blue streak if mine was as messed up as yours ugh lol ;)
Sounds like not a good kit to get. With you complaining so much about it. I am new to diamond painting and have not done such a big painting. Good luck with kitting up.

I actually asked my husband about 3D printing something exactly like that! I will have to look and see what I can find. Thanks for watching!!
What static spray do you use? Do you spray a q-tip?

I will make a post on the facebook group with you tagged to show how I organized my storage drawers from artdot!
Awesome! Thanks!
You could swap the art dot bottles for the ones in case you prevent the dropping out
Thanks for watching!

Hello, sorry if I missed you talking abut it, but have you tried writing to the company and asking for a confirmation on the sticker sheet/drills?

@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous Ah! I missed that bit. Even after two years it's worth an email, never know until you know Happy Diamond Painting!
Good grief! How much could be wrong with this kit? I hope you can get thru it without missing a bunch of drills.
I’m hoping not much more, lol. I hope so too! 🤞Thanks for watching!!
Did those stickers come with the kit or did you make those?
The stickers came with the kit.
What is the blue thing you are using to put the diamonds in and where do you get it?
It’s a funnel I bought from Bella Art de Nicole. They sell diamond painting accessories. Thanks for watching!!

Ooh, I didn’t even think of that. I’ll have to dig out the humidifier and see if that helps next time I kit up a project. Thanks for watching!!
Get some thin card to use as dividers into the artdot drawers. 😊

How do you use the static spray?
@@MardiJackson I just spray it on the end of a cotton swab and then swirl the swab around in the drills. Easy peasy and no more static!
I would cut foam to put in the drawers. It will take some room away but they won’t move around as much.
I thought about that. Thanks for watching!!
Can I ask you where you got the bottle dispenser spout?

Ugh, I just ordered from them!! Now I’m worried about problems😢 I only ordered one thing and if it ‘s like this that will be the last time!!
To be fair, my other kit from them was great and had no issues. Maybe someone was just having an off day. 🤷♀️ Thanks for watching!!

For the amount of money you pay for those Deutschland kits, it’s appalling how badly they’re organized and how staticky they are.
To be fair, the static isn’t their fault - it is winter, and the air is drier when you are running a furnace. Thanks for watching!!
