    You've really went all out on your Jeep. Love the black on black look. I've got a 2013 Rubi Unlimited. We use our Jeep as our main vacation vehicle. I pulled the entire interior and dynomated the floor from front to back, and did the doors too. I then put on the Hothead Headliner kit to keep the over head temps manageable. The Jeep is quiet inside, and it's perfect for long trips. Our ears don't bleed anymore.

    I have a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited. Same color as yours. Still lots of mods to go. Right now, the mods I have are: AEV 2.5" Dual Sport XT, Rigid Dually spots and floods mounted on the windshield, Spod, ARB onboard air compressor, Aries security cargo lid, and Truck-lite LED headlights.

    Now, all you need to do is go to Moab, Utah. Or the Rubicon Trail, in South Lake Tahoe, Calfi, in the Sierra Nevada's. Alot different than driving on the beach. And more fun.

    Love the Jeep! If I hadn't bought a $30,000 2015 Harley Davidson (with mods) and a brand new Ford car, I would have replaced my 2006 Jeep with the 2015 Rubicon you have. Looks like I'll have to wait a few years now...lol

    depending on how much offroading you do, I found some led rock lights that work great for me. I use them for regular trail riding.

      +Guy R You sound mad because i spent thousands in lighting. Guess what? I can afford it, too bad i can't say the same about you. And as far as my axels yes they are built. Later troll

    Sorry to hear that man. I have the Rigid 50" led bar with the Rigid mounts and i do hear a little wind noise but nothing that is even that noticeable to my passengers. All i can say is that i know my light bar doesnt stick out too far above the roof and i know the rigid light has a few pieces of plastic attached at the rear that helps break up the wind noise. I have heard of people putting strips of weather stripping on the back of the lights to help with the wind noise.

    • @AKGUY47
      @AKGUY47 9 років тому

      Thanks for the info I will give it a try. I actually think it is more the bracket then the light. I have a 50 inch curved light on my truck that doesn't make any noise.

    • @meganforghani8815
      @meganforghani8815 9 років тому

      What bracket mount did you get from AEV? There are two different mount choices. The hawse mount and the roller mount. I can't seem to figure out the difference.

    • @AKGUY47
      @AKGUY47 9 років тому

      I got my mounts from putco. I looked at some that where like 200 bucks. That a pretty good profit when its only 20 bucks for them to make.

    • @HangoverReport

      The hawse is for synthetic line and the roller is for steel line.

    Awesome build dude! My '15 Rubicon Unlimited is in the shop right now getting a Rock Crawler X-Factor 2.5" lift w/ Fox reservoir shocks, full Poison Spyder body armor, rigid lighting, etc setup similar to yours. I went 35's as well (Same tires, Nitto Trail Grapplers and Fuel Trophy 17" wheels) and have the factory 4:10 gears- have you noticed a big drop in power or are 4:10's perfectly fine? Thanks !

    Sick jeep yo! Just wish you didnt film this under the overpass in such low light conditions. I knw u wanted us to see the lights but I felt like not having the sun to show off that beauiful paint & accessories didnt do any justice for this vid. Maybe 2 parts would of done the job. Overall, im jelly! Lol. Looking to get myself this jeep in a few months & doing a matte white 3m wrap job on it. Keep the vids coming brother.

    I just ordered one and copper brown
    That is an excellent choice
    You can't get one of those in Arizona as
    soon as they come off the truck they are sold
    so you have to order it
    And wait six weeks

    Great looking jeep!! You built almost the same exact jeep I plan on building just after the new year when I buy my 15HR. A few things I plan on adding what I surprised you didn't do was smoked out LED brake lights, I'll also add rugged ridge hood latches and mopar locking hood with grill inserts and locking gas cap keyed to ignition key. I almost forgot, also Gibson exhaust. Love your jeep dude!!

    • @2010svtraptor
      @2010svtraptor  10 років тому

      Thanks for checking out the video. I may get the brake lights eventually. I did consider getting the recon smoked parking lights but i saw someone who had them. If i tapped on them they would flicker so i didnt bother. I have the gas cap on my list also. I just installed blue led lighting on the interior. I'll be posting a video soon, dont forget to subscribe.

    Hi 2010svtraptor, I've been watching your videos for a while.... I just recently received my new 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hard Rock Rubicon straight from the factory and I'm anxious to start modifying it... It is black, 730N radio, soft top with 4.10 gears. The first thing I want to do is to install a 3.5" or 4" inch LIFT...and also 35" x12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers tires on 20" Fuel wheels. I do some off-roading but not much (that's why I'm getting the 20" wheels)... The reason I'm posting on your site is to ask about your LIFT... I was totally convinced to buy a 3.5" Stage I or a 4" Stage II Pro-Comp lift, but the more I read about them on the forums the more I tend to stay away from that thought. How much do you like your AEV Lift 3.5” 4dr DualSport SC Susp??? Would you totally recommend it to me?? How's handling compared with stock suspension? Have you installed more parts to your suspension after you installed your lift? Do you know the exact part number you installed??? thanks for your time, you have a nice ride!!!

    What mount did you use to get the "Rigid LED 10" E2 Series - Combo R2G17831" lightbar to work on your Hard Rock front bumper? When I look at Maximus site, it only sells mounts for a 12" lightbar.

    I have pre-ordered my 2015 Wrangler unlimited in Baja Yellow Clear Coat. Was really hoping for Copper Pearl, but my dealer told me that the Hard Rock Edition does not come in Copper or Sunset Orange Pearl, so, Baja Yellow was my only choice, since I wanted to get a bright color.
    Thanks for showing all those possible modifications. Now I know where I will get the rail and winch for my front bumper, as well as the AEV Rear Vision System. Not sure, how do you make it work with the factory Navigation system?

    • @2010svtraptor
      @2010svtraptor  10 років тому

      Ara Hakobyan Congrats on the new Jeep. The aev rear vision system plugs in to your factory nav. Then aev has a module that flashes the nav so that it will work.

    Very nice! I always have liked jeeps. Especially with all the mods you can do, and they are so good off road. I would put a little winch on the back too, be good to use for utility, with some easy mods, can be used to hoist things and also pull you backwards if needed. Now, so when we gonna see it get dirty, or an in view video on some night driving? After all, it is a Jeep...

    That's one sweet looking jeep! When you drive on the beach are you airing down the pressure in your tires? If so, have you considered beadlock wheels? Since you obviously spend a lot of time driving on the highway I'm sure a DOT compliant wheel is a necessity. Take a look at Bead Assist Device (B.A.D.) Wheels Incorporated, their website & Facebook page have lots of pics & info explaining how the one piece, internal locking system works, looks cool. Oh, and the best part is the company and all the manufacturing is done here in the U.S.

    2010svtraptor Sweet jeep man! I love it! Have you had any whistling problems with your large light bar above the windshield? And if so, what did you do to modify it? Also, in adding that bank of light switches to the inside, does that conflict with the freedom top?

    • @2010svtraptor
      @2010svtraptor  10 років тому

      Matt Anderson Thank You and I do hear a little whistle with the light bar. I have heard of some people placing some kind of weather strips on the back to help with the issue. My rigid light bar came with something on the back of the light for the noise but you can still hear it a little. The bank of switches that i have is the SPOD. Its very well known and it does not interfere with the top. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe

      @2010svtraptor  10 років тому

      Thanks bud, and regarding the light bar try not going too cheap. I have heard of some people buying them for 100 on amazon, i wouldnt trust that. If you want something cheaper i would try a brand called www.lifetimeledlights.com . I never owned them before but at least they have a warranty and they are very affordable. Also i know a guy out here in ny that has been happy with this other led bar that i think is in the 400- 500 price range and i think it also has a warranty. offroadledbars.com/

      Vasja Pupkin I agree with you. I have already taken my jeep off road but nothing major. So far only had a chance to drive it on the beach a few times. But i'm planning on going to an offroad park soon. The problem is that cops are very strict about going in to the woods with the jeeps so i have to drive a couple of hours away. But i still been trying to find some trails on long island that i can sneak in to.

I didn't see any in your list of Mods, I see your in the I.T sector, let me know if you manage to crack the ECU using a diablo tuner :) manly if your gunna add a Sprintex super charger :) would luv to hear how you get on with a tune or make any changes using a tuner with or without a SC ( super charger)

    Hey man, dope looking jeep!!!! I have a question about your lighting if you have a moment. Do you have any battery issues with all that juice running? Or are the jeep wranglers built for these kind of mods. I didn't know if i would have to add a power converter as well as other electricals to help power LED bars??

    I'd think lifting it would make the handling worse, since the center of gravity is higher.

    • @2010svtraptor
      @2010svtraptor  10 років тому

      Kevin H That is probably the case with other lifts but the aev is known for how good it handles on the road also. At least for me it works well since my jeep isn't a dedicated trail jeep.

    now this get me thinking how long can the engine last with all this mod will it over work if it was a v8 I think cool but this fiat small engine seem to be overworked , just asking

    • @2010svtraptor
      @2010svtraptor  9 років тому

      danny blackhorse Since it has the right gearing it really isn't that much stress on the motor at all. It pretty common to do 35's with this lift. My axels were also reinforced for added protection. When you go over 35" tires then there is more work that needs to be done for the axels and gearing.
