2 gorgeous quilts this week & because I loved the fabrics when I first saw them I ordered. They came in the mail the other day so all ready to go. I was just thinking about making the night sky quilt with them but glad I waited so I can make this one instead & really like that it is bigger. I feel a bit like I won a quilting lottery tonight :) The Hubs and I just celebrated our 41st anniversary yesterday, the 9th & I wanted to make Him a beautiful quilt to commemorate the love & beauty He has shared with me all these years. I still feel like He hung the moon for me so making Him 16 beautiful stars in a quilt is my way of wrapping Him up in a tangible expression of my love/happiness :) The panel quilt is beautiful too, It looks like the wind is blowing the leaves around under that starry sky. Made me think of The Winds of March so good job picking that one for this weeks tutorial too. I love all your tutorials & look forward to them all.. Thank You Jenny & MSQC for all You do to keep our machines & our heart Humming. God Bless You...
“Go ahead and chain piece your legs…your star legs, not your actual legs”. Who else caught that and had to pause to finish your chuckle for the day? Oh Jenny, sometimes you really do crack me up! ❤️
Jenny, I’ve purchased 3 sewing machines over the years, thinking each time that maybe the features on the machine would enable me to quilt…wrong. You’ve shown me that the right teachers will enable me to quilt! I’ve made two baby quilts, and I love this one soooo much that I’m going to grow up now and make this beautiful adult quilt. Thank you Jenny and MSQC. 💚
Fabulous!! How exciting for you. Among the many things I just adore about Jenny is that design, color, joyful self awareness and expansions on beginning designs is her passion. But she’s driven to SHARE‼️ She’s a born teacher with ideas bubbling over and sharing ideas and lessons learned must be so very satisfying to her and hers. I once read about how she got into sewing after she retired. It was a kind of an intervention strategy her children came up with. And what did she do? Zoom‼️ And the rest is history. Check out her story. You’ll enjoy it no end. I love watching both she and Donna Jordan. Donna is also a superb teacher. They both love fabrics and color and are endlessly creative. Donna is very precise, which I do prefer to Jenny’s approach. But they are a perfect pair. If they had time together I’m sure they’d talk endlessly. I’m so very excited for you as you venture down this road to new adventures. There is no greater compliment to one who teaches than knowing that by sharing their expertise their ideas will wander on to new places. It’s really ripples on a pond, nu? ENJOY ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Jenny, this is so very beautiful! I'm in love with this one! I'm sad 😢 that the fabric squares are not available anymore. I want to do it so much. 😊 I will try another fabric. YOU teach so well , and inspire me. The fact that you get directionally kerfuffled gives me hope, because I do too some of the time.Thank you for sharing this with us.
2 absolutely stunning quilts. Blues & purples are my favorite colors so of course this tutorial was a hit. I keep saying I need to stop buying fabric until I’ve used up what I have but then another one shows up that I simply must have! And that border for the panel quilt is brilliant!
I was so shocked last night when I sat down to watch this video. Last night I got a package of material in the mail and in it was the same 10" squares from Timeless Treasures that in this quilt. Guess fate has sealed what quilt I'll be making with them. Thanks Jenny.
Hi Jenny, thanks for showing us that you make mistakes too and how to correct them. You always have so much fun. I have learned quite a bit from your videos. This is a gorgeous pattern and the fabric choice is a definite wow.
Hi Jenny! I have this panel staring at me. I loved it the first time I saw it and have been thinking about how to quilt it. You always seem to know what I'm thinking about and this is a beautiful treatment for highlighting the beauty of the tree! Thank you sooo much! ❤❤
Love this pattern, I must make the center panel quilt for my twin great granddaughters. Of course in pinks and purples for one and Blues and pinks for the other, ADORABLE! Thank you Jenny!
Thanks Jenny for doing these tutorials. I love how you teach them. You actually understand that not all sewers have the same brain and help us to understand how ours work too. I love these colors but having made one already with a black background and having difficulty seeing I either need to get a brighter lightbulb to see or change the background to a different dark color, maybe navy. Love your hst shortcuts. They help so much.
After a busy day in my sewing room, I get to watch you and hand quilt! I hope you have a fabulous week ahead! Thank you for your time, talent and posting this video!
Good morning Jenny, I love both of your quilts today. Although i might not be normally into dark/black fabric, it just makes this northern lights quilt sparkle and the bonnie panel quilt is just as gorgeous. Thank material is utterly stunning and oh how i love that you match your backing with the same line of design. I think that these quilts might be fight over with your family because of it's popularity. Thank you for sharing your talent with us once more and for the easy 16 triangles. Sending crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
What beautiful colors! I LOVE the panel border. I have several panels and never know what to do with them. I buy them because they’re pretty 🤷🏻♀️😅 I’m going to have to try this. Thanks again for another great tutorial.

The colors in the fabric line are gorgeous and what a beautful quilt it makes. Simply stunning!! I really love the border setting for the panel too. I love using panels for quick quilts and this border is one I will try. Thanks for a great tutorial!!!
Good Evening Jenny, I love late Thursday Night’s as I look forward to seeing what you came up this week and I Love the Quilt and the Bonus Quilt. I never would have had the thought to boarder the quilt like this.. it’s so pretty and the colors set it off beautifully. Thank you for sharing Jenny, and I cannot tell you show many times I twirl each of those triangles around until I get them right. 😳😉👍 I am angle challenged too. Have a wonderful weekend. 🥰 Chris
Greetings from France ❤️. Jenny you are looking glamorous🤗😍 elegant and beautiful. I am not a quilter but I love and enjoy watching your videos. A big hug. 🥰🌹👍👍👍
Thank you Jenny - I look forward to each and every video! I loved your "don't be pressured by my crazy ways" quote today. So many teachers have a 'must do it this way' mentality - thanks for being you!
I'm so glad I found you and the company!! Love your videos, so easy to follow. I've been seeing and quilting for yrs and never knew of these quick and easy tips. Just ordered my first set of fabric, can't wait til it comes!
What an INCREDIBLE tutorial, especially using the panel. I have SO many of those and am at loss at times what to do with them. You just increased my "to do" list incredibly!! THANK YOU!!
Oh my gosh Jenny this quilt is spectacular. My favorite color is blue. I’m going to get my fabric to make this. I want to thank you soooo much for your help and videos. I’ve been doing a pinwheels for learning and oh my I got so excited I did it thanks to you!! Love watching Triple videos. God Bless and Thankyou! Joanne
This quilt and panel quilt just speak to me. I love the simplicity of the 8 half square triangles and also the smaller 16’s. And the way you put them together makes great quilts. Thank you for this tutorial, Jenny.
I can prove I really love this quilt because I just bought the fabric from Missouri Star to make it, a first for me. The colors are all my colors and there’s not a thing to not love about it! Thanks for making the quilt and posting the tutorial.
I love both quilts. I especially liked the how you did the 1/2 stars] borders on the 2nd quilt. It came out amazing. Thank you so much for teaching me how to quilt and continue to sew more quilts. I appreciate it!!
Beautiful quilts!! I really love the colors in this line…and that panel quilt just wowed 🤩 me!!! I want to make both!!! Thank you Jenny, you always break things down to make it easy‼️💖💖💖
I never think of using a color other than white for my background fabric, but this is amazing and is changing my way of thinking! Always love your tutorials.
Jenny your voice is so soothing, and your instructions are perfect. Thank you. I think sewing is so calming. It builds our confidence in each step of the way, right on to the finish. Then at the end, how rewarding to see how your finished project comes out. It's kind of like our lives, how with the dedication, diligence, & perseverance to the day to day tasks, & patience develops a happy, fulfilling, & peaceful life. I think for the displaced Ukrainian refugees, sewing would help them in rebuilding their inner self. Our prayer's go out for them daily.
Beautiful quilt and great tutorial. I love the colors with the black. I’ll be making this pattern in the future. My future quilt list is so looooooong.
Omg jenny. One, quilts are gorgeous, two, these colours are my favourites. So beautiful. Great start to the weekend. I kust bought a bunch of these colours three weeks ago. Gotta go get cutting now. Big thankyou hugs🌸
Jenny: as a person who is creatively challenged by rotations I always enjoy watching you manipulate sections. I can immediately see if something is amiss but it can awhile for me to figure out where things go. This, I think, is one of the single greatest gift you bring to your fan club. You’re cheerfully chatting along and mention that it’s a better/good idea to do certain things that help with precision. Examples: setting seams before pressing. I’m a stickler for finger pressing so it’s easier to nest seams precisely but you expertly line up the cross seams and they match very well. Isn’t it wonderful how we quilters can do things a bit differently from each other and still create beauty and charm! When I can’t sleep I often watch your videos because they are always so happy. Especially in these very parlous times it’s helpful to withdraw from the world every now and then. 🌺
I love the half stars on the panel. Very clever
Absolutely love the colours in this quilt. Great tutorial as usual Jenny 😊😊

It's almost our wedding colors 50 years ago. Our colors were light lavender and teal. Thanks for bringing back fond memories.
