  • Removing and replacing the camshaft position sensor on a 2003 to 2010 Nissan Micra K12 with 1.0 litre petrol engine. Some of the most common bad crankshaft position sensor symptoms are an illuminated check engine light, the engine won’t start or it stalls, the engine misfires or runs roughly and you might have reduced fuel economy. If you’re renewing the sensor, the part number is 237314M505. Thanks for watching. Please comment, like and subscribe !.

Einfach Stecker abziehen, 10er Schlüsselweite, dann Sensor austauschen. Trotzdem Danke für diese saubere detaillierte Anleitung.

    I recently had to change the Camshaft Sensor myself. However, all I did was to take out the air filter filter and the removable filter cover and I got it from there using a small ratchet with a 10mm socket. There is no need to pull out the air box.

    Hi!
    I’ve been watching your videos for couple years and you have helped me a lot on fixing my car. I have one question if you could answer I would appreciate it.
    I’ve had couple months planning to change my camshaft sensor due to engine check light and camshaft sensor faulty code. I’ve been really lazy and have not changed my camshaft sensor and now my car don’t crank and dont start. Do you know what may be the issue. I know it’s because I did not changed the camshaft sensor but do you what could me the damage?

    my micra also does not start or starts from 5 times. P0340 "check engine" error is on. It starts when I turn off the camshaft position sensor. changed the camshaft position sensor 3 times, with used auto. It's most likely the timing chain, but I'm not sure. micra 2004 177k miles on clock

    i have P0340 fault code in my Nisan micra 1.2 2003 is this the part that i have to change and is it the same for 1.0 and for 1.2

    • @screwsnutsandbolts
      @screwsnutsandbolts  5 місяців тому +1

      It's most likely the camshaft sensor causing the fault code. I think the part should be the same for the 1.2 but I would double check the part when you remove it, just to be sure.

    I am having hot start problem with my K12. I tried to change the Camshaft sensor but in vain. One thing I noticed while changing the sensor, it was covered with engine oil. Is that normal?
