0:53 Minor correction: Swablu actually can be found in the main game. N gives you the Waterfall HM right before you enter Victory Road, letting you access Abundant Shrine, the area which you find Swablu.
Just as an FYI: next time you play through Black 2 and White 2, you can get a Deerling with its hidden ability Serene Grace at the lab on Route 6. You could have also counted it as a static encounter, meaning you could have gotten a Grass-type before the Ground Gym. Edit: OK, how did my comment get this many likes?!

I had an idea a while back, of an only trade Evolution run, to show off pokemon like politoed. And if you cooperate with another player you could trade your teams and use the others team now fully evolved. I think it could be really fun to watch
You could used the cinncinno from the grotto west of nimbasa instead of east and good it with skill link so it’s multi hit moves would always hit 5 times, especially since cinncinno can then go to the move relearner for bullet seed and rock blast
I feel you on the Volcarona part. They're They're bonkers pokemon. With Quiver Dance I got mine to over 1,000 Special Attack and walked all over Alder in my initial playthrough of Black 1.
After binging through your channel’s hardcore runs the past couple of weeks, feels cool to be here 5 minutes after a new one posted! Ready for this ride!
The regional rodents actually pull more work than they're given credit for. Raticate in particular has both Guts and Hyper Fang early on in Gen 3+ so its a good enough mon for the early game. In general I feel like Normal-types are quite the versatile bunch though it does kinda suck that you don't get the greatest of special attacking options in this game until very late with Clefable. I mean you could've tried to make Castform work but 70 base SpA ain't cutting it anywhere when your physical attackers pull out so much more damage.
I just swept Drayden with Castform on my normal type run! Feather Dance Druddigon three times, switch to Castform, set up Hail, click Blizzard three times
Honestly, Normal Type have really caught my heart in recent years, this run just helps that alot. Let's get it Sawsbuck! Normal Types will probably break my Top 5 soon. Great Vid 👌
I just did this nuzlocke a month ago, actualy yo can get a minccino with skill link 100% in the first secret path tha Bianca shows you in the game right next to the Electric gim, also you can get a deerling with serene grace from the weather institute and a garanted dunsparce with serene grace in the victory road, do not take one of the secret paths, it will have its hiden hability and it is trash. By the way amazing video, keep it up!
There’s a hidden grotto you can get early on that gives you an amazing Minccino. It has the ability that increases the power of multi-hit moves, which is totally busted with Tail-slap and Silk Scarf.
Uh... no. Skill Link makes all multi-hit moves hit the maximum times, like Icicle Spear hitting all 5 times. It doesn't increase the power of anything....
In the defense of Delcatty, I actually went to and DEFEATED the Hoenn League in Alpha Sapphire with a Delcatty on my team. I took me a couple of tries, but I managed to win in the end. And at higher levels, Delcatty can be surprisingly tanky. So it's actually become one of my favorite Normal Type Pokémon.
Honestly I laughed but also was really glad you tried to use Delcatty. I know it has really bad stats but I love Delcatty. It’s a cat ! And it’s so cute ! What’s not to love ? Haha
I totally suck at nuzlockes, but I absolutely love watching them! I really enjoy watching your videos Silph and I learn so much through every nuzlocke you do. Maybe one day I can commit to one, especially seeing how fun your videos make it seem like.

Now, I notice that your recent videos are releasing on Mondays instead of Sundays. Is this easier for you to do, schedule-wise? I don't mind, really.
Guts boosted STAB hyper fang from raticate probably would’ve been an even better bet than rock smash for Colress, and I’m hoping that later on you have raricate be your answer for a lot of things that resist normal typing cuz guts boost stab practically negates a 2x resist, if not outright negating it. I don’t know the guts multiplier off the top of my head, it’s either 1.5 or 2 tho I think. Do not quote me on that tho
If you ever feel like it, you can try B2W2 challenge mode. It makes all major fights a bit more difficult and for these types of runs with a few more encounters than usual it could help spice things up even more
I think an interesting Nuzlocke would be fairy type Pokemon, but in Gen 2 before they changed typing (so Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Marill, etc.). Gen 2 because Gen 1 would be a nightmare to pick up Fairy-type Pokemon, but I'm pretty sure you can pick up a Jigglypuff before the first gym.

It was the first time I used all Normals, and was super pleasantly surprised. Ironically Unfezant turned out to be my MVP, so glad that Braviary worked out!
the primary issue for normal type runs is that stoutland overshadows the rest of the pokemon to such a huge extent that stoutland basically just carries the entire game by iself, since all the other pokemon are shit except for specific type coverage moves. and frankly, Ariel ace and rock smash on a stoutland covers them *anyway.*

I know it'll take you a while to catch everything, but, you have 26 Pokémon at your fingertips and the 8 Legendaries can be Level 5, so they should be fair game. If you limit yourself to the 18 non-legendary Pokémon, you might be hurting, Silph. You'll have some interesting things to use like Spiritomb, Rotom and Altered Forme Giratina. I bet you'll have a very interesting team as you swap out Pokémon. Maybe limit the legendary Pokémon to midway or if you have devastating losses. So you have back up firepower for good measure. Maybe one Legendary Per Area, so Tornadus for Castelia, Dialga for Nimbasa, Palkia for Virbank, etc. So, having one Legendary holding the EXP Share. Meaning, none of N's Pokémon and no Wild Pokémon.

I always thought the wailord you see happens like every first time you go in the tunnel. Seen it everytime i entered the first time all 11 plays of the game
Wondering if a 1% locke would be possible and a fun idea, for instance if you ran white 2 again ill list the first 7/8 encounters, you would basically have to take the lowest % encounter chance on each route, unless its a dupe in that case you'd replace it with the next as per normal rules, you would get some good strong pokemon granted but also some weaker ones in like a dunsparce or something and it would be cool to see amore diverse team than just a standard type locke r19: 50/50 as they are both the same r20: purrlion on 15% ranch: pidove/riolu virbank: quilfish complex: magnemite/elekid/magby or koffing/patrat sewers: grimer castelia park: eevee/lopunny/delcatty/whimsicott/lilligant

I would like to see pokemon moon with only flying types!! Please.😁
You should try to nuzlokcke pokemon platinum but with only steel types. It would make it hard for the end game
Why did you go with the wild minccino instead of the one from the hidden grotto which is guaranteed to have skill link?
Could you do a Platinum run using only the evolutions introduced in Gen 4? (Roserade, Honchkrow, Yanmega, Froslass, etc.)

Wondering if a 1% locke would be possible and a fun idea, for instance if you ran white 2 again ill list the first 7/8 encounters, you would basically have to take the lowest % encounter chance on each route, unless its a dupe in that case you'd replace it with the next as per normal rules, you would get some good strong pokemon granted but also some weaker ones in like a dunsparce or something and it would be cool to see amore diverse team than just a standard type locke

Raticate is my favorite Pokémon and I loved seeing you use him!
at least you got the better Delcatty ability instead of the annoying Normalize
