Honestly, garvantula was the pokemon I enjoyed using most whenever I played bw2. I would always make sure to catch one with the compound eyes ability to raise the accuracy of moves by 30%. After grinding on the battle subway for battle points, I got the wide lens item to increase accuracy even farther. This made the move thunder have 100% accuracy, when it was normally 70%. It's so funny that this Hiker guy wanted to trade his Gigalith for an Emolga, since last game, he wanted to trade a Boldore for his own Emolga. There's a little story there! The Hiker fell to peer pressure and realized that he MUST have a Rock type as a Hiker. So he traded his precious pet Emolga for one out of desperation. But in the end, he realized that this simply wasn't who he was. He missed his dearly beloved pet. So, he sought out someone who could return his precious Emolga. The chances were slim that it would be the same one, but at this point, any Emolga would do. Away goes his despised Boldore, now a Gigalith, as it evolved after the trade in Black 1. He has his precious pet back, and will never fall to the expectations of others again
But then again, it is kinda Clay's fault for getting rid of his only Pokemon that took Water type damage neutrally and not even bothering to replace it with like a Quagsire or something. I forget what Ground types are in B2/W2.
Finally Galvantula in a challenge run, Love that pokemon to bits and it's compound eyes thunder antics alongside it kind of highkey destroying the E4 in BW/B2W2. That pokemon clutches up in a nuzlocke let me tell you.
im legit proud of you for being easier on yourself via the encounters. i watch a lot of nuzlockers, but you were always the hardest on yourself when it came to encounter rules!
Silph you are the man. Got a couple ideas: Love the series so much btw. A randomized version in any game as a typelocke with you playing and summarizing like with this series would be highly watchable content. I love Eelectross, mine was max health and special defense. Coil, Drain Punch, Acid Spray, and Zap Cannon with leftovers as the item. Pretty awesome set
Mono electric is really fun in White, i love how you can have two ground immunities with emolga and eelektross and a neutral one with galvantula. And the legendary fits the theme unlike in Black.
PSA: emolga encore is super broken. The ai doesn't switch out of it, so you can encore mons like Drayden's Flygon into the ground moves the rest of your team baits. Also the static ability has a 50% chance to force an electric type to appear in areas with one if you lead with a mon with it, so you can get Tynamo and Emolga quicker with that
@@alifikhwanudinmuhammadyusu9605 yep, and magnet pull does the same thing with steel types, it's super useful for nuzlockes for getting your skarmory or whatever other steel type you want

While I didn't do a hardcore nuzlocke only a normal playthrough with only eletric types this makes me happy. My team is electivire, eelektross, galvantula, ampharos, magnezone, and surprisingly emolga. Really gave me a new appreciation for these six. Especially since I'm at white tree hollow
Just an FYI, the Leavanny went for String Shot repeatedly because of the Speed stat reduction from paralysis. Would work the same for a burned mon with growl or charm and no other super effective move.
At the end, she didn't even have to go for dual chop, she could've used earthquake on eelektross because she has mold breaker. I've found in my own playthroughs that for some reason, Iris' AI is really bad specifically for haxorus. It dragon dances at low hp, uses non-optimal moves, and is overall not threatening for what should be a very scary set (overleveled DD sash mold breaker haxorus)
Thunder Wave really is a great strategy for Draydens Haxorus since the AI gets a bit obsessive about boosting until it can outspeed you. Also, first turn explosion s have been the bane of the Kanto portion of my current Soul Silver run. One even managed to kill my Quagsire despite Quag being 10 levels higher and EV trained in both defenses and HP.
Not sure if you could have farmed more red shards but fire punch would have had 15 more base power and had a chance to burn excadrill lowering it's attack and causing damage every turn
I’m doing my own Electric Monotype run through White 2 right now and I got insane luck with Elekid not only being female, not only having a neutral nature, not only having 30 Attack IVs but also being shiny! She is deffo the star of my team
Against Clay, I think it was not necessary lose Electabuzz. After the Low Kick, if you have changed to Emolga to avoid Bulldoze, then bring Jolteon (take the damage from Rock Slide) and used a Ground Gem boosted Dig, Excadrill will probably in the kill range.

I didnt realize there were some pretty good electric types in White 2! it definetly to the watch bakue of your vid man! And as always you deliver! Gratz on the completion!
Its probably a Billy jo Armstrong reference, since green day is a punk band and the gym is one giant punk rock reference. Also shes wearing black and red which was literally in the reference photo
Another banger, Silph! Loved the crazy strats, especially the Metronome Shadow Ball and teaching Drain Punch. And about the debate, that Gym has a punk rock vibe to it, and that npc is a guitarist, so it has to be Green Day Billy Joe, right?
Gothitelle went for Thunderbolt because when the AI detects that any of the four moves can KO your Pokémon, then it chooses at random, hence why Gothitelle went for Thunderbolt because it would have killed Magnezone otherwise and was chosen randomly, luckily for you since it's a 25%
Doing a white 2 playthrough recently I remembered how annoying early game is with all of those electric types with static and in gen 5 electric types could be paralyzed still.
I'm doing this nuzlocke right now (but with full use of items, shift battle mode and no level cap) And I couldn't decide if I should get both Elekid and Magnemite at the complex since it is two areas, I decided just to catch Elekid, I'm now training for the electric gym, I'm seeing your video and decided to go back and catch Magnemite too. PS: I also picked Snivy, but I kept it on my team, evolved it, then I was training it for the electric gym in the desert where it was killed in a trainer battle against a Herdier from a critical Take Down. So only electric types now.
Billy Joel’s hometown is very close to NYC so that’s what I’m going to go with for where Billy Jo’s name came from. I forget whether Nuvema or Aspertia is meant to be Long Island, though.
I'm pretty sure the guitarist reference is about Billy Joe Armstrong. Billy Joel isn't know for playing guitar and because it's a newer version of pokemon I'm gonna assume most of its player base doesn't know who Billy Joel is.

I always wanted to do 1 type runs in the classic games, but a lot of types didn’t come until later, like fire.
Ahhh Silph on Sunday! Was lost last week without it
Most unique transition to a sponsee I have ever seen, I respect it Mr. Siplh
1:07
Garchomp, because it's a Ground type?
You could have saved lightyear by attaching the air balloon to jolteon and doing as much with ice punch on lightyear and it is able to live bulldoze then switch into jolteon and kill it with dig. But still great vid
This run: exists
Clay: I'm about to end this man's whole -career- run
Hes Using The LightningMcQueen As The Pokemon Name Theme Nice!!:)
Just came here to watch the match against Clay.. amazing tactics man
5:20 that one line is what made me a fan of the office.
40:20 - Assuming the damage role would be the same, Dual Chop actually would not have killed Eelectra (115 × 1.5 = 172.5)
Before evolving Magneton, you should’ve retaught it Tri Attack at the PWT outside Driftveil.
I didnt realize there were some pretty good electric types in White 2! it definetly to the watch bakue of your vid man!
And as always you deliver! Gratz on the completion!
i have been binge watching all your challenges run, and Every Single One is a Banger!!!
It sucks to lose Electabuzz but...beating Clay with only one death on an electric only run is super impressive.
Girl in the ferris wheel acting mad sus tho 👀
I'm doing this nuzlocke right now (but with full use of items, shift battle mode and no level cap)
And I couldn't decide if I should get both Elekid and Magnemite at the complex since it is two areas, I decided just to catch Elekid, I'm now training for the electric gym, I'm seeing your video and decided to go back and catch Magnemite too.
PS: I also picked Snivy, but I kept it on my team, evolved it, then I was training it for the electric gym in the desert where it was killed in a trainer battle against a Herdier from a critical Take Down.
So only electric types now.
that lady on the ferris wheel, sheesh!
Would love to see you do Black2/White2 nuzlockes on the hard mode
That natural surfshark segue...bravo
Billy Joel’s hometown is very close to NYC so that’s what I’m going to go with for where Billy Jo’s name came from. I forget whether Nuvema or Aspertia is meant to be Long Island, though.
I love the surfshark tie in. Like next level outta pocket reference 😂
Voltaire having Unnerve is unfortunate. That compoundeyes would have helped immensely!
I'm pretty sure the guitarist reference is about Billy Joe Armstrong. Billy Joel isn't know for playing guitar and because it's a newer version of pokemon I'm gonna assume most of its player base doesn't know who Billy Joel is.
6:44 well probably an Armstrong reference since he's known more for playing guitar than Joel is. Also she's dressed up as a punk so
“I’m leaving, GET ME OFF”
I came (lol) for the nuzlocke; I liked for the laughs
